Chapter 8: Fresh Beginnings a Sweet Story Fulfilled

Authors Note:

Okay if anyone wonders why I have not included characters from the most recent Sonic X episodes( from 53 onwards) is because I have not seen those episodes yet and I don’t have any purpose to include more characters unless the eps are really interesting and inspiriting to em when I eventually see them, because when I started writing this fic I was doing it from 1-52 not beyond(the ones Fox Kids now Jetix had broadcasted so far in 2004 till early 2005(which was exciting) when I made the first chapter). I have read bare root info and scanty chopped screenshots on those eps and will not change my opinion or attitude until they have been watched by me. <_>

I know I haven’t said it before and since its so deep into the story I feel a bit bad about it too but if you do realise a whole load of other characters have appeared in these play type of story things. I don’t mention them in the list because they don’t have major parts but I have made a mistake and Bokkun did speak a lot during the end of the sixth chapter so please bare with my silly mistakes because I’m still a juvenile at this fanfiction stuff. Hope you’ve enjoyed and I haven’t totally bored your head off with my continuous speech and hardly any movement or whatever in these plays. These ones would be called the raw chapters because there so fresh from my head( they haven’t really got any real actions or things that will help you understand the play/story)y so again bare with me. When I have time later on I’ll try to create two  more versions of these the cooked version of this( fully edited revised and edited again with added parts) and a story format version which would probably be easier to read for some fanfiction lovers well that’s the end
of  my talk thanks. Mind you this will only happen when I have time and will take a while to finish and stuff.

 Its been a week since the defeat of Eggman and the destruction of the deadly Eggman Drives. Our hero’s are resting well, and are also tryng to get back to their normal everyday life. It’s a nice sunny day, and though not everyone is active there is still happiness, pleasure, fun and nice surprises on this journey through time. A little surprise is also in store for our heroes.

Amy: I suppose this was my fate, I guess that I would become so sick of not ever seeing Sonic again I would become sick.

Rouge: Why are you talking like that, honey, you have no need to be putting yourself down, just take a deep breath. 

Espio: Amy I thought you were happy a few minutes ago. 

Amy: Well a girl has the freedom to change her mind you know!

Rouge: You better wait outside Espio I think we need to have a girly chat

Espio: Well I have been here for the last hour, I think I need to get back to work.

Rouge: Tell Vector, he’s doing a good job

Espio: Alright sure 

Amy: Espio, bya have a nice day

Espio: Yeah sure Amy, for you.

Sonic: Thanks for staying here at my place to help me out Tails

Tails: Yeah anytime Sonic, I just want to make sure the medicine we’ve given you takes good effect.

KNOCK KNOCK

Sonic: Hey that’s my door( he said as he sprinted across the living room to answer the front door)

Knuckles: Hey Sonic, feeling a little better?

Shadow: Yeah came to check on you

Sonic: Hey Shadow,Knuckles long time no see, well thanks Tails has been my doctor for the last week.

Shadow: Good

Knuckles: Well Tails, your really showing it now, if you don’t turn out to do a job in science then Im the Queen.

Shadow: Anyway, do you feel any different? 

Sonic: Well I do get these sour tastes in my mouth, but I do get a lot less headaches now is that good?

Tails: Yeah sure 

Sonic: Any luck with Amy?

Knuckles: She dosen’t wanna talk to you for the rest of her life 

Sonic: WHAT!

Tails: That’s new!

Knuckles: I don’t wanna pain you or sound like a gossip, but I think her and Espio have something going on?

Shadow: Perculiar but its none of our business, its up to her she’s a female( he snapped harshly as he was also disturbed about the subject because of the feelings he also
had for Amy)

Knuckles: Oh come on its not like it will last, Espio and Amy what a laugh ha! 

At this moment Sonic stared at Knuckles sadly as he tried his best to hold back tears.

Tails: Knuckles shudup!

Shadow: Yes Knuckles, do you have a conscience? 

Knuckles: What did I say?

Sonic: Can’t she change her mind,  we’ve shared so much together, it was earth that helped bring us together and now this? 

Shadow: Don’t worry, you’ll find another girl

Sonic: But I don’t want another I want Amy Rose the hedgehog, I’ve fallen in love you guys.

Tails: Cut the mush Sonic you’ve been going on about this all week, gosh talk about teenage issues I’m only eleven, look at the problems and dilemma’s you have to face.

Shadow: You can’t include me, two tailed guy

Knuckles: She might change her mind, surely……….

Sonic: Its too late…….she’s her own girl….she’s got looks, moves, taste, personality and flavour……

Tails: Lets change the subject…does anyone want Ramen?

Knuckles: Yeah I’ll have the beef special

Shadow: Count me out

Sonic: Okay I am hungry, but why are you thinking about food at a dilemma like this SHEESH! I’m so worried its worrying me!

Knuckles: Exactly, I’ll come with you Tails.

Sonic: Fine if your gonna get me something get me the sweet and sour chilli chicken thing the Chef always makes!

Shadow: Shall we talk this over Sonic?

Sonic: Nah it pains my heart….what I want to know is why I have to take this nasty medicine.

Shadow tells Sonic the whole story while showing him images and details on his copied file on his mini handheld computer.

Amy: I miss him

Rouge: Hang on how come you told Knuckles to tell him you never want to speak to him again?

Amy: Did I say that?! I just said it because I was frustrated with having to be in hospital, laying on a flat bed!

Rouge: Whoah you have some explaining to do tomorrow miss Amy

Amy: Rouge you’ve gotta help me

Rouge: Nope not now I’m due to go visit Cream in her ward, if I have time I’ll come back, but you need your rest, a hero’s job is not easy you’ve got to stay strong.( she said as
she got up from her seat to leave the room)

Amy: Wait Rouge, I’m feeling better

Rouge: Tomorrow okay, you need sleep bye

Amy: Bye Rouge…………Sonic I remember what you whispered in my ear that you’ll promise to fufill our lifelong dream together, then you must love me.  I think the road is
becoming clearer Sonic the Hedgehog…

Sonic: Tails I know what happened

Tails: What do you mean? 

Sonic: Shadow told me the whole story while you and Knuckles went to get the ramen.

Tails: About your brain?

Sonic: Yes.

Tails: Its hard to believe isn’t it?

Sonic: Unbelievable, but now I know my true friends.

Tails: ???? ( he’s too scared to ask who)

Sonic: You, Shadow and Amy but I guess the others had a reason to look at me as a jerk…..I can take it.

Tails: Don’t worry they’ve all forgiven you now, you saved the planet again with dignity and when you sent that last thought speech through our minds we knew you were truly back.

Sonic: Thanks buddy

Tails: It’s nothing. No worries

Sonic: I’m going out tomorrow

Tails: So I guess you feel a lot better

Sonic: Almost, I guess in a few days when the medicines finished my treatment is?

Tails: Exactly

 Sonic’s thoughts: I’m on my way Amy, as soon as I feel better and if you do love me, I know you’ll be waiting.

THE NEXT DAY

Amy: Espio I can’t take this, why are you being so nice? ( she says as he hands her a box of chocolates)

Espio: Because you’re a lady

Amy: *blushes* you don’t have to give me all these presents though

Espio: Don’t worry, its all in a good works job

Amy: Excuse me? Espio are you trying to tell me something?

Espio: Don’t you feel the passion?

Amy: what you going on about?

Espio: You’re so beautiful, beyond compare AmyRose…..please may I kiss you?

Amy: Eeyuu Espio, I didn’t know you liked me?

Espio: Yes, I thought you felt the signals?

Amy: You are nuts! You’re a sly, quiet ninja and I’m a loud, common Mallet specialist

Espio: So the difference makes no difference to me….I want you!

Amy: Get out of here boy!

Espio: But I…..

Amy: Get out before I set Knuckles on you!                            

Espio: Okay goodbye my lovely mwah! ( he quickly says as he blows her a kiss and scampers out the room)

Amy: Great, now I can get out this bed and go look for my real love….Sonic I’m on the way!

Rouge: The Sonic boy’s had it now Knuckles

Knuckles: Leave it Rouge, we can’t help this matter

Rouge: Yeah if Sonic really liked her then he would have grabbed the chance ages ago but no, he keeps holding back.

Knuckles: Yeah well the guy had a tough issue to face just a few weeks ago and now he’s bed ridden, taking antidote/medicine to heal himself.

Rouge: Oh look there he goes now( she says as he points calmly at the brisk sight of Sonic running down the nearby dirt track)

Knuckles: What the guy feels better already!?

Rouge: Come on you know what he’s up to.

Knuckles: What…?

Rouge: To go find Amy of coarse.

Knuckles: Oh Sonic you’ll never change

Rouge: Guess what Cream should be home now.

Knuckles: Thanks for telling me, I just remembered it was my day to visit.

Sonic: I’ve got to find her…….I need her……..I love her………I can’t afford to loose someone like her at all!

It seems like I’ve been running for hours, am I running to the right places to find her? hang on I see pale pink, a figure, oh wow its her, the place where we were on our last date the Huge Crystal Water fountain.

Amy was sitting patiently at the water fountain staring.

Amy: You came……I can explain everything

Sonic: About what?( he said as he placed himself  15 centimetres away from Amy)

Amy: What Knuckles told you from me

Sonic: Oh

Amy: I didn’t mean to say that Sonic its just that I was so frustrated when I found out I had to go to hospital just to heal my body from the terrible preassures I’ve had to face.

Sonic: Really?( he said softly as he placed his hand on hers)

Amy: I can’t afford to loose you again Sonic……..my world only works properly when you are in my life.( she began to wimper)

Sonic: Amy……..

Amy: I can’t take it anymore DAMN IT! I’ve missed you ever since we broke up……..I don’t know what I was saying when I want to visit you at the hospital, I love you more then that!( she wimpered weakly)

Sonic: Amy……

Amy: From the day I first met you, I’ve been head over the hills in love and I’m hopeless in showing it in a civil manner………I want to be with you forever.( at that moment she bursts into fresh floods of stressful tears)

Sonic moved a little closer to Amy

Sonic: Why are you weeping?( he said politely as he lightly put a arm around her)

Amy:  I love everything about you, you’re my knight in shining armour, my dream guy, my fantasy dream, my goal.

Sonic: Take this Amy( he hands her a tissue)

Amy: When I think about the past, I think that I can’t live without you, I’m so deeply in love with you it hurts. So I try to convert the pain into happiness and then it turns into anxiety, that runs through my veins. It makes me long to see you, just a little. That’s why I used to chase you before, longing to see your wonderful bright eyes and cheeky white smile and friendly thumbs up gesture. Because of who you are and how you live life, I’ve always yearned to meet someone like you and I never thought it would be such a handsome young guy like you Sonic, I just can’t describe my feelings for you enough.

Sonic: Amy I know what you mean

Amy: You do?

Sonic: I’ve fallen in love once

Amy: Please say more, I love your voice

Sonic: With another hedgehog, but she was out of my league, so I left it, even though to have been a hero all my life and totally famous, doesn’t mean I don’t go through the same
struggles and tears.

Amy: That’s so sad, I feel to weak to act but if she ever troubles you again I’ll knock her out for you

Sonic: I’ve risen, and stumbled, tripped and damaged, fooled and saved done all you can imagine and lucky enough have still lived to see my eighteenth year. Gosh I don’t know
what I would do without my speed, I would be a fallen mess to be honest.

Amy: No don’t say that

Sonic: That’s why even though I don’t show it, I enjoy listening to you too, I just wish if I didn’t have such a runaway mind we could talk more but not just about romance but other subjects to.

Amy: So you do listen to me then( she blushes extreme red as the excitement of hearing the news energises her) Like your favourite activities?

Sonic: Maybe ( at this moment he was staring at Amy with half open eyes and he was smiling semi passionately at her attention)

Amy: Well then Sonic, then you start the discussion, I want to hear what you’ve got to say

Sonic: I want to tell you something that I’ve always wanted to say. A little something I prepared after my heart found a true meaning to love.

Amy: That’s wonderful Sonic, I I don’t know what to say? I thought you wanted to talk about other matters, not romance? But please carry on, you are so sweet Sonniku.

Sonic: Through this horrible story you’ve still been on my side, no matter what happens. I knew that you’ve always touched a soft spot of my heart before and I’ve never fully shown it. I haven’t really given you anything since I gave you the rose that I know would make you feel really happy but I hope my short poem showed you what really lies in my heart…..sweet Amy.

Amy: You are sooooooooo roooomanticallllllly perfect………

He moves right close to her so his ears touch hers.  As he whispers ‘Amy I love you’ 

Amy: I ……. I

She is stopped in words as Sonic places his hands on her shoulder and his lips meets very gently with hers. The two press close for a moment as they share the best and first kiss together, absorbing the romantic feeling.

Sonic: Amy I’ve finally realised I’m in love with you and nothing can change that (he said firmly as he stroked the back of his hand on her cheek)

Amy: I know I feel it, you have relieved ny restless mind now that I know you share the same feelings.

Sonic: I can tell you, from this day you have my heart.

Amy: Sonic, I really missed you, you are so loyal, so heroic, so understanding, so passionate, so handsome and so caring….that’s why I fell in love with you the day I met you, I love you to.

Sonic: I can’t live without you Amy, I’m beginning to realise that, that’s why we have to stay together, no one can afford to loose someone like you…….your so beautiful

Amy: Oh Sonic…

Sonic: Oh Amy……never leave me again my sweet passion…..and thank you for still keeping that necklace, I guess its our memory.

Amy: I’ll always, always be your sweetest honey, your love and partner, your soul mate. I could never loose this necklace Sonic, it will always be a part of me.

Sonic: I’m in nostalgia when I’m with you Amy, you make life sweet.

Sonic jerks around jauntily to notice a large figure shadowing over them like a tower, He stopped and waved up to the figure as he smiled and recognized the humungous and strong Big the Cat.

Big: Hello Sonic and Amy.

Sonic and Amy: Huh?

Big: How nice to see you again, I have a message for you

Amy: What is it Big?

Big: The Mayor told me to give you this, ain’t that right Froggy?

Froggy: Ribbit

Sonic: Hey thanks  he says as he takes a neatly folded letter, from Big’s lingering hand) oh Amy check this out.

It reads:

Dear Sonic and friends,

In order to celebrate the reestablishment of the planet’s government and health of the citizens we would like you and the list of friends below to attend the International Bounquet tonight at 7 pm sharp. I do apologise for the short notice but it would be very appreciated if you attend, because you have been nominated as world’s fastest hero and most famous traveller, so you are entitled to make an appearance as well as a speech with your group of friends (notified below).

Amy: That’s great Sonic, I guess if we’re all invited we’ll have a wonderful time and imagine that walking arounding in the planet’s international ball room oh how romantic.

Sonic: The only girl I want to waltz around with is you Amy,   

Amy: Oh Sonic I love the way you can be so rooooooomantic

Big: Excuse me are you finished reading the letter?

Sonic: Oh yeah Big, this is great news, aren’t you excited?

Big: About the party? Froggy and I don’t really know how to dance but we’ll be happy with the food

Amy: Big you silly, you don’t just eat, you can dance around a fantastic ball room with people all around waving and cheering and smiling and….

Big: I was just telling Sonic I can’t dance, that’s why I’m not sure if I should go

Amy: Nonsense, I’ll get you whipped into shape before the ball don’t worry, I just need a little help from someone I know.

Sonic: Shouldn’t we be going now? Its about 2 already, the hours will go fast if you wanna prepare…hey I gotta tell the guys

Amy: I have to tell the girls, this is gonna be lovely just by preparing

Sonic: Come on Ames lets go!

Amy: Hey I’m going with Big, he needs dancing lessons and dress code help.

Sonic: Really, do you want me to tag along?

Amy: No not really, Big and I will be alright, we’ll got to central to buy a suit and then I need to catch up with Rouge.

Sonic: Suit yourself Ames, but I’m gonna miss you, my sweet

Amy: Sonic you’re my heartbeat

Sonic: Amy you’re my life

Big: Can we go now?

Amy gives Sonic a quick kiss on the cheek, which does not satisfy him because he makes a quick grunt, but he recalls from pulling Amy in for a real kiss because of the huge yellow staring eyes of Big and the funny feeling of kissing Amy in front of the huge lumbering Cat. This makes Amy giggle as she jumps on Big’s back as he instantly begins to walk down the hill that the Fountain rested on.

Amy: I’ll miss you (as she blows him a sincere kiss)

Sonic: Love you Ames (he replies as he watches her ride away further and further)

Vanilla: Oh my a ball that is truly wonderful, my little muffin 

Cream: I know, and I’m so happy the Mayor remembers us J

Cheese: Chieu Chieu!

Vanilla: But, Cream this may seem like a nice idea but little girls like you don’t go to big adult meetings like this.

Cream: Mum what are you trying to say?

Vanilla: That you’re a little young darling.

Cream: Does that mean I can’t go?

Vanilla: Well………

Cream: No please Mum, my name is on the paper to, the Mayor wants me to come, please please

Vanilla: You and that young boy Charmy are babies, you won’t find anything fun for you to do, plus its too late, that’s past your bed time.

Cream: But I’m almost eight years old.

Vanilla: Do you think that will change things? Cream baby, you won’t be able to go, its too late, once you get there you’ll be sleeping.

Cream: But Mum, I would love to see all the people, wear a nice fluffy dress, be like a princess, just like the stories you read me.

Vanilla: Yes I know, but those are just fairy tales.

Cream: Besides, Sonic will save us if anything goes wrong, he’s brave and nice.

Vanilla: Oh Cream, you are really stubborn these days…..

Sonic: Good afternoon to ya ladies, may I come in? I have good news( he said as he poked his head through Vanilla’s half opened door)

Cream: Sonic! You came to visit! ( she said as she ran up to the door as she looked at Sonic’s bright smile she jumped for  joy) Yay you have flowers!

Sonic: Yes, for you and your Mum, anyway Vanilla may I give you the good news?

Vanilla: Oh yes Sonic, and please take a seat.

Sonic: No I’m on the run but, I would just like to tell you that the Mayor is having a bouquet and he has invited the both of you to come…..

Vanilla: Sonic we know, we received a letter late this morning….

Cream: Yeah, but Mum won’t let me go( she answered quite abruptly while smelling the flowers Sonic had given her)

Vanilla: Cream!

Sonic: I can’t help you on that Cream, your Mum knows best

Cream: But Sonic I wanna go so much!

Cheese: Chiaaaaaaa

Vanilla: Cream Cheese stop crying, you know your to young

Sonic: I can’t help you there, honest, all I can do is wish you best of luck Cream

He bent down close to her ear and whispered: We still have a couple of hours.

Vanilla: Sonic you understand what I mean?

Sonic: For this I’m going neutral, I don’t take sides for decisions, okay gotta go( he said as he whooshed out of the house in  a split second shouting) I’ll catch you later Vanilla, Cream and Cheese!

Knuckles: I can’t believe I let you persuade me into doing this

Rouge: Cut it out, you moan too much, come on I’ll help you find the best suit after I find the sleekest, most glamourous and attractive dress.

Knuckles: Oh Rouge, you’ll never change…..

Rouge: Look at this one

Shadow: Do you know what this can do to a man’s dignity?

Rouge: Gosh Knuckles now you got quiet old Shadow started, no Shadow I don’t really care.

Knuckles: This is gonna be a long day, I should have followed my heart and begged to stay with the Master Emerald back at home.

Rouge: Then you would have got sick of Vector knocking on YOUR EMPTY HEAD!

Shadow: I feel an argument around the corner……..

Knuckles: One more word and I’m off……..

Rouge: I’m saying it because all you do up there is sleep and once in a while, open an eyelid to see if the emeralds gone!

Shadow: Rouge keep it down, we’re in public

Rouge: So what, if you can get this BONEHEAD, to shut up then maybe I’ll reconsider.

Shadow: Knuckles, why is she making such a fuss?

Knuckles: Who knows, you’re the doctor is this the way women act when their pregnant?

Shadow: What!? Knuckles is she?

Rouge: You pervs are real wishers!( she shouts violently as she storms off in a temper tantrum)

Knuckles:????????????????????

Shadow:  Erm wheres Tails?

Knuckles: Beats me, I’m straining for my life and your thinking about orange fuzz?

Shadow: Alright we’re done for, might as well bend over and die when Rouge is in this state( he says as he watches Rouge temper tantrum storm through several people in the
shopping crowd that surrounded the three)

Knuckles: Rouge wait!( he says as he runs to catch her up)

Shadow’s cell rings: * Hello Shadow talking is that you Tails?

Tails* Yeah its me, any luck with finding a suit?

Shadow* You’ve got to be kidding me I might as well be dead, Rouge has had a temper tantrum*

Tails* Whoah, smooth, you must have really made her mad*

Shadow* To be honest it was Knuckles, but I don’t wanna recall the story, I’ve almost caught up with them now*

Tails* Ahh never mind, she’ll be fine by the bounquet, you just need to comfort her by saying she’s pretty and smart and stuff*

Shadow* Okay I’ll try it thanks Tails*

Tails* A-okay Shadow, A-okay Bye*

Amy: Big you do know where we have to go first right?

Big: Erm well, and, we?

Amy: Big we have to get to the mall pronto!

Big: Yes aren’t we going the right way?

Amy: Yeah but we should have made a turn about here…….oh yeah we’ll get there in about 10 minutes from the point we are now.

Big: That’s good then I think Froggy is getting tired.

Amy: Okay then lets go………..

Sonic: Hey Tails, I wanna tell you some great news!

Tails: Really?

Sonic: yeah the Mayor has invited all of us to the international ball/bounquet.

Tails: Yeah I know I got a letter this morning

Sonic: What you knew already?

Tails: Yeah the Mayor sent one to all the particiepents, that means all the others received one to.

Sonic: Alright then, how come I got it as a telegram?

Tails: I guess because the Mayor was worried if he left it at your place, because of the fact you are always out and about.

Sonic: He he( he said in an embarrassed tone while rubbing the back of his head)

BANG BANG BANG WENT THE DOOR

Vector: Hey Tails let us in we’ve got business to sort out!

Tails: Hey is that you Vector

 Sonic: Huh?

Vector: Yeah me and the guys

Tails briskly walks up to the door to let the clumsy Chaotix in.

Tails: Er what do you mean by business?

Vector: You little guy are gonna need a neat touch of Chaotix slickness.

Sonic: You’ve got to be kidding me, what you guys on? 

Tails: what do you mean Vector

Espio: Vector reckons that because you’re a little fella living by  yourself reading books all day, and solving equations and theories of quantum physics, you won’t have any sense
of style for this near coming ball.

Sonic: Tails knows what he’s doing let alone the fact he lives by himself, why do you think he’s so brain strong?

Charmy: So we brought you a suit and we thought you would like it so…

Vector: Sorry to bombard you like this but we were just a little worried…

Tails: Out of all the nerve you guys, I’m perfectly capable of sorting myself out…………..but since you went through the trouble of getting me a suit….Thanks.

Charmy: It even has an open section for your tails to fit through

Vector and Espio: Charmy!

Sonic: (muffles laughter while looking at the immature bee get scolded by his two team mates) you guys are nutheads.

Tails can’t help but feel L so he walks away from the others to sit down on his couch. Sonic notices and he sprints across to comfort his best buddy.

Sonic: Don’t worry Tails, okay I’ve got to admit the way Charmy said it was funny.

Charmy: Hey! 

Espio: Shudup…

Tails looks at his friend and nods and the short pain of his sadness quickly transforms into J(happiness)

Sonic: Come on you guys we all need to prepare, I suppose you’ve got your suit?

Vector: Yeah, I have it’s a deep green leather tux

Espio: Mine is a black suede two piece
