All Her Children  Chapter 15


Rouge ran through her house, laughing with Petr, Ruby and Sapphire.  They were sliding on the newly-polished floors in their socks. The batchidnas were hysterically as their mother  picked them up, one by one, and slid
across the floor with them. Rouge ran through the rooms with great speed, bent her  knees, folded her wings
like propellers, and of they slid. Each batchidna in their own way was different. Ruby was red with her mother's
ears, bat wings, and a white star was on her chest. Her eyes were pale orange. Sapphire was a light red color, 
almost pink, but not quite. She had a cream-colored star on her chest. She had deep blue eyes, and dreadlocks. 
She had her father's knuckles, and her mother's wings. Petr was bloodred, with piercing green eyes, and a light pink  zig-zag line on his chest.  He had his mother's ears, and his father's dreadlocks.

They each had different personalities, too. Ruby loved to be updated  at Toys R Us's newest line of toys.
She was one of those little girls who loved to get fake makeup, and really fancy clothes. She wanted what she wanted, when she wanted. Sapphire was kind of laid back. She loved to have people read  to her, and she was
very trusting. She loved to laugh, and make people laugh. She was more the kind of person who  could wear any piece of clothing, and be happy with it. She even normally liked to wear crazy, busy clothes. Petr  was mellow,
and laid-back. He was, as you might say a total Mamma's Boy. He loved his mamma, and she loved him.
He was one of those boys who, if they forgot what they were going to say to their mother, said "I love you"
instead. It made his big sisters sick.

Rouge felt something in her stomach. After she stopped sliding, she  put Sapphire down, and went to the phone.
As she was dialing Knuckles's cell phone number, she said to her  children,"Ruby, Sapphire, go get dressed, and help Petr get dressed too. Daddy's coming, and we're going on a little trip to  town." Knuckles was lying in front
of the Master Emerald shards, looking at  the clouds, chewing on a grass stem. He was thinking about his children, and Rouge, when his cell phone ring. It  was Rouge's theme-song, so it was (duh) Rouge.

"Yeah, bat girl?" he asked, playfully. At once, he realized something  was wrong. "Rouge, what is it?" He heard
her voice, which was soft.
"Knuckles, I-I don't know what's happening. My  stomach-" Knuckles didn't need to hear anymore.

"Rouge, I'm coming. I'll be right there."

Secret Memory  Chapter 16


Amy lay in the hospital bed, unconscious. She stirred a bit in her  sleep, but stayed the same. Sonic's head
was laid on the pillow, beside her. He muttered  something in his sleep. Amy and Sonic had a connection.
They were dreaming- the exact same thing

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon on Mobius, but was predicted to  rain. A blue blur whizzed past a 16 year
old pink hedgehog.

"Sonic," she whispered.

The blur stopped inn its tracks. A blue hedgehog became visible.

"Amy?' he said, disbelievingly. He slowly, started walking toward her, mesmerized, as if walking to a ghost.
"Amy.. is it really  you?"

Of course, he wouldn't have said that, if it weren't for the fact that Amy had changed. This was the first time he
had seen her in 3 years. She had been where no one had found her.  Her pink quills were hip-lengthed, and they were pony tailed halfway down with a  green. She had gotten about 2 heads taller than what she had when she was  13. She was wearing a light green, v-necked tank top, and dark green cargo-pants. Her ears were pierced twice. She had light green open-toed sandals, with white flowers on the  sides. She was wearing light pink lip gloss,
but that was the only makeup she was wearing.  And her eyes- they were more beautiful than he had ever remembered. He slowly reached  out and touched her face gingerly.

She smiled at him. "Of course it's me, Sonic."

He was startled. No "Sonniku"?  No tackling? No hug leaving him gasping for breath?

"I-I  can't believe you're back! Amz... we've missed you so much! Where were you?" Amy smiled sadly at him.

"I was getting over you."

Sonic woke up suddenly. He saw Amy lying there peacefully. He stroked  her cream colored cheeks, and his eyes filled with tears. "Amz," he whispered.  "If you got over me, then why were you so sad when I was with Sally?" 
He kissed her  forehead, and layed his head back down. "I could never, ever get over you, Amy.  Never."


*Authors note- I do not know when Amy will wake up. That is fate's decision. or mine. whatever.

Trust Me, I Love You  Chapter 17


25 year old Rouge the bat, 26 year old Knuckles the echidna, and their 3 children, Ruby, Sapphire, and Petr, had just arrived at the doctor's. Rouge had been feeling kind of strange lately. She had many semptoms, each what
she had had when she was pregnant with all three of her children. She was afraid. Not just because of the almost certain possibility that she was pregnant, but the fact that she had done nothing to get pregnant since before Petr was born. And that had conceived Petr. As they walked inside the doctor's office, Knuckles squeezed her hand tightly. She could not look into his eyes. She prayed that the test came back negative. She went inside after
the nurse called her in. Petr and Ruby sat on the floor, and played with the toys. Sapphire grabbed a book,
andappeared at Knuckles's knee. She looked at him with her beautiful sapphire eyes, and he chuckled.
He lifted her onto his knee, and read her the book. After he was done, she took the book from his hands,
and looked into his purple eyes with her blue ones.

"Thanks, daddy." He grinned like a fool. He loved his children more than almost anything, but the one who he
could never stay mad at was Sapphire. She was his little girl, and he loved her with all his heart. She slid off his lap, and put the book back. She came back to his lap, and snuggled her small head into the cresant shape on his chest. She slowly drifted off to sleep. He softly kissed her in between her ears, which so resembled her mother's. Rouge suddenly came out of the other room, looking teary. Knuckles looked at her questioningly, and she looked away.

"Rouge, what's wrong?" he asked.

"Knuckles...."

He stood up, and Sapphire slightly stirred in his arms.

He looked to make sure that she was still asleep, and then looked back at Rouge, who had Petr on her shoulders, and Ruby in tow. Knuckles followed after her.

"Knuckles. I-I'm p-" then she looked at Ruby and Sapphire. "P-r-e-g-n-a-n-t." Knuckleslooked at her. He realized the same thing that Rouge had.

"But, we didn't...." then he stopped in his tracks. She stopped with him.

"Knuckles," she whispered.

"Are these mine?" he fumed, gesturing at the three batchidnas surrounding him.

"Of course, Knuckles!" Rouge said, shocked. Sapphire stirred, and opened her eyes. He stared at Rouge,
his eyes clouded over.

"Rouge...how could you? I-I thought you loved me."

Rouge's eyes teared up. "Please trust me, Knuckles! I do love you!"
