It Doesn't Matter Chapter 9, Fireworks and Bombs on the Beach
Sonic sat in his car. He had parked at the Emerald Park and waited for Amy to wake up.
Sonic:"(thinking) Maybe I should just go home. She might not wake up for a long time. And I'm kinda tired too."
Amy laid in the back seat sleeping like a baby. Her back had stopped bleeding though the back of her dress
was now a crimson color from the blood. Sonic looked back at Amy.
Sonic:"(thinking) She's so beautiful."
Sonic lay back in his seat and closed his eyes. Amy whimpered in her sleep as she moved around a little.
Sonic:” That's gotta be painful. Hey Ame's....you awake?"
Amy, hearing Sonic speak, sat up. She whimpered in pain and lay back down.
Sonic:” Are you okay?"
Amy:".....I'm fine. My...back..."
She fell asleep again. Sonic frowned sadly and started his car.

Sunshine filled the room the next day as Amy woke up. She looked around. She was lying on the couch.
At the end of the couch, Sonic rested his head in his arms asleep. Amy, smiled and tried to sit up.
Pain shot up her back.
Amy:” Oh*cry* ow."
Sonic moved a little and opened his eyes.
Sonic:” Amy...hi.....good morning."
Amy smiled a little.
Sonic:” You should rest. What are you doin' sittin' up?"
Amy:” I tried laying back down....but....I don't have enough strength..."
Sonic's eyes saddened and he walked over to Amy. He helped her lay back down.
Amy:” Thanks Sonic...."
Sonic starred deeply into her eyes.
Sonic:"........."
He kneeled by her side.
Sonic:” Hey Amy?"
Amy:"....uh huh."
Sonic:” Besides what happened last night....in your accidents case....did you have fun at all?"
Amy sat up, smiled and placed her hand on his cheek. Sonic blushed at held her hand.
Amy:” Of course I did. I got to spend time with the one I love."
They starred into each others eyes. They slowly began to come closer to each other.
Sonic closed his eyes and almost pressed his lips against Amy when-
Knuckles:” Hey Guys!"
Sonic turned his head away and looked at Knuckles who didn't know what was going on.
Sonic:” Oh hey Knuckster!"
Knuckles:” What time did you get back from the station? Did you kick Eggmans rear?"
Sonic:"*disappointed* No, he kicked ours. Amy was severely injured and I was burned."
Knuckles looked at Amy's back.
Knuckles:” I think it'll be okay. Vanilla can take care of that. Have you eaten' breakfast, yet?"
Sonic:” No, Why-"
Knuckles:” DON'T!!....*whispers* Vanilla's cookin' today."
Sonic:” You don't like her food?"
Knuckles:” NO! It's taste's like crud!!"
Sonic snickered and stood up.
Sonic:” Well, I'm gonna go have some "crud." You'll be alright won'tcha Ame's?"
Amy nodded still in a romantic daze. Sonic walked into the kitchen. Cream walked over to Amy.
Cream:" Hi Amy! I heard about what happened to your leg and back. I'm so sorry."
Amy:” It's fine Cream. Besides Eggman, I had a really fun time last night."
Cream smiles big and sits by Amy.
Cream:"*excited* Did he kiss you yet?"
Amy sighed and went into a romantic daze again.
Amy:” No, not yet. He was going to a minute ago....but Knuckles came into the room and we were
interrupted....I guess he forgot."
Cream:” Some boys are like that. They get embarrassed and forget things. Sonic has a one way mind!
Example, he can't be romantic and think about running at the same time! Last night when you were
stabbed
in the leg, he probably wasn't thinking about the aliens and Eggman, he was thinking about you!"
Amy smiled big. She liked the thought that Sonic was probably thinking about her for once and not running.
Amy:” Thank you so much Cream! You're the best friend anyone could have!"
Cream:” Really?"
Amy:" Yeah, you're like a little sister to me!"
Cream smiled and giggled. Vanilla came into the room and checked out Amy's back.
Vanilla:" Oh my! We need to wrap your back up with gouge. Come with me."

It was 8:00 at night. Amy sat in the living room watching TV with Sonic. She had put her regular dress on.
TV:” Nothing has happened so far with the aliens today. We think Eggman might of gave up or decided
not to attack us. The aliens have given up."
Sonic:” Don't jinx it lady!"
TV:” Some people have decided to set off fireworks at the beach in celebration that they are gone."
Sonic rolled his eyes and clicked off the TV. He started to walk away. He stopped and thought.
Sonic:"(thinking) ....fireworks? Hey this could be a chance to be with Amy and her not get hurt!"
Sonic turned around and looked at Amy.
Sonic:” You wanna go watch the fire works?"
Amy lit up.
Amy:” REALLY?!"
Sonic:” Sure, I'm bored."
Amy grabbed Sonics hand excitedly and ran outside. She jumped in the Sonics car.
Amy:” What are you waiting for slow poke. Come on!"
Sonic smiled, hopped in the car and started it. He backed out quickly and drove away. By the time they
got there the fire works had already begun. They both got out.
Sonic:” Whoah..."
Amy smiled and looked up at the sky. She looked at Sonic who was already looking at her. Sonic and
Amy held each others hands and looked up at the sky...
The End(yeah whatever! Just joking!)
Amy and Sonic sat on the ground. Huge sonic boom fireworks exploded in the sky. There was red ones, blue, green, and purple ones.
Sonic:” Wow....this is great!"
Amy:” Uh huh!"
Then, something exploded in the back of them sending them both flying forward. The people stopped firing
the fire works and screamed. The explode left a fire. The Firemen showed up minutes later and put it out. Something exploded to the left of them and then to the right. One of the firefighters picked up something
in the center of where the first explosion was.
Fireman:” These are bombs!!"
Sonic flared and looked up. A huge ship flew into the sky.
Man:” IT'S EGGMAN!!"
