It Doesn't Matter Chapter 7, I've Fallen in Love With Her!
Sonic ran fast through a forest. He stopped and kneeled by Amy's side. She was lying on her back
and a puddle of blood surrounded her. Sonic picked her up out of the blood that stained his hands.
Tears blurred his eyes.
Sonic:” Amy...I didn't...keep my promise.*cry*"
Amy:” Sonic...It doesn't matter."
Sonic lay her down on a patch of grass and turned her on her stomach. He gasped and more tears flowed
from his eyes. Her back had pretty much been severed. Deep cuts were aroused in her back and blood
flowed out. Sonic cried as he turned her on her back again.
Amy:"....Sonic....I-I love you."
Sonic:"*cry*I love you too! Amy....don't go! I love you so much."
Her voice became quiet and breathy.
Amy:” Sonic....you've waited too long..."
She closed her eyes and did not open them again. Sonic shook his head.
Sonic:” No....No....Amy! NO!"
He buried his head in her shoulder and cried. Then, he started to feel weaker and weaker.
His energy drained. Sonic lay down on the grass, Amy beside him.
Sonic:” I'm dying....I have nothing else to live for."
He closed his eyes and died....for that time it really did matter.
Sonic woke up from his nightmare. He was sweating violently.
???:"Sonic?"
He sat up. Amy stood there with a worried look on her face.
Amy:” What's wrong? Are you okay?"
Sonic:” Oh, I just had a nightmare."
Amy:” It must have been horrible. You're sweating so bad it looks like someone dumped a pool on you!"
Amy laughed at her own joke.
Amy:” Knuckles wants you down stairs. I came to wake you up."
Sonic:" O-Okay.Tell him I'll be down in a minute."
Amy nodded and left the room. Sonic rested his forehead on his hand.
Sonic:"(thinking) That was horrible! I hope I never go through something like that again!"
He rolled of his bed and walked down to the living room. Knuckles sat on the couch watching TV.
Sonic:" Yo!"
Knuckles:" Oh Hey! Look at this!"
TV:” The aliens are gone! Their ships have disappeared. The president is trying to decide if it is safe to
come out of shelter. G.U.N has investigated Eggmans ship. Unfortunately, all of the soldiers were killed
except two. We are about to go live with them to talk about this tragedy."
Reporter:” Tell us, do you know Eggmans plan yet?"
Soldier1:" Yes, most of it. Eggman created the extraterrestrials using the seven Chaos Emeralds."
Reporter:” Has the president decided if he is going to attack Eggman?"
Soldier2:" No, not yet."
Reporter:" How many aliens do you think there are?"
Soldier1:" We don't have an idea on how many there are. They are accumulating by the minute."
Reporter:” Do you think the aliens could attack again?"
The soldiers traded glances with each other.
Soldier 1:" Possibly yes. And maybe an even bigger attack."
Reporter:” What's the chance of us winning?"
The soldiers eyes fell.
Soldier2:" One out of one million."
The reporter gasped.
Reporter:” Well folks*ahem* that's all we have for you now. We will have more-"
The TV fuzzed out. Sonic flared as he saw Eggman on the screen.
Eggman:" Hello my future citizens. My extraterrestrials are ready for their final attack!
Surrender now or suffer the consequences, which will be:
#1: I will destroy your city and become the ruler!
#2: I will make you all my slaves!
#3: Did I mention I will be your ruler? Must have slipped my mind.HA HA HA HA!!"
Sonic growled.
Eggman:" And by the way, Sonic if you are listening to this, YOU'VE LOST!! HA HA HA!!
Sonic clicked off the TV and headed for the front door.
Knuckles:” Where the heck are you going?"
Sonic:” I'm gonna go kick that fat guy six ways to Sunday and show him who REALLY lost!!"
He opened the front door. Sonic spun around as someone grabbed his arm.
Amy:” I'm going too!"
Sonic:” No you're not."
She grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him down to her eye level.
Amy:” Yes...I am."
Sonic:” No you're not! It's too dangerous."
Amy looked into his dreamy eyes.
Amy:” I'm going with you...and that's final!"
Knuckles:” You can't argue with her and expect to win Sonic. Give it up!"
Sonic rolled his eyes.
Sonic:” Come on!"
Amy smiled and held on to his arm. Sonic helped her in the car and then hopped in the drivers seat.
Sonic:” How's your leg?"
Amy:” It's fine. It still hurts like crud though."
Sonic looked at her and frowned.
Sonic:” I don't know why you wanted to come. You should've stayed home if your leg is still in that condition.
When we get to the News station where Eggman is, I won't be able to help you!"
Amy:” I just wanted to!"
Sonic:" Why? You can't walk!"
Amy:” I can walk!! I'll do anything to spend the time with you!"
Sonic grew silent.
Amy:” I wanna spend time with you! And besides, you said you'd take me out for the night. It's only 12:30
and it's dark outside. So therefore it is still night time!"
Amy giggled and Sonic sighed.
Sonic:" You always get your way don't you?"
Amy laughed and nodded. Sonic smiled and pulled into the news station parking lot. Sonic and Amy got out.
Amy whimpered as she stepped.
Sonic:” Are you okay?"
Amy:” I'm fine....It just...hurts...when I walk."
Sonic:” I told you!! Amy....get back in the car. I'm takin you back home."
Amy:” No! I can do this....just give me a chance."
She started walking and fell. Sonic caught her from falling on the ground. He turned bright red as he held
her in his arms.
Sonic:” Amy, this isn't working....I'm gonna have to-"
Her eyes fell and filled with tears.
Sonic:” Wow, you really want to be with me?"
Amy nodded. Sonic lifted her head up. She starred deeply into his eyes and he smiled.
Sonic:” Let's go."
He took her by the hand and walked into the station.
