It Doesn't Matter Chapter 6, Road Rampage
Cream:” I hope Sonic and Amy are okay."
Tails:” They'll be fine. I just don't know why the phone and electricity went out."
Cream:" Hey! Look at that!"
Cream pointed to a strange figure outside.
Tails:” I'll go check it out."
Knuckles ran downstairs.
Knuckles:” Don't open any doors! There is danger outside-Tails SHUT THE DOOR!!"
The figure started running toward Tails. Tails slammed the door and locked it. He grabbed Creams hand
and ran upstairs with Knuckles. They heard the window brake and the front door fly open.
Tails turned around and-

Sonic:” I'll try my car again. Maybe the engine was just filled with water."
Sonic helped Amy in the car. He hopped in on the other side and turned the key. It took a minute
but it finally started.
Sonic:” YES! ALRIGHT!"
He was about to take off but he heard something on the roof of his car.
Amy:” What is it?"
Sonic looked in his side-view mirror. He saw tall figures behind him. Their eyes were glowing red.
Sonic breathed hard.
Sonic:” Amy...don't scream."
Amy looked at him with a worried look on her face. Sonic saw the figures walking toward Amy's side of the car.
Sonic:” Get in the back. And don't look out the windows."
Amy nodded and climbed in the back. Unfortunately, she looked out the window. She tried hard not to scream.
Sonic:” Okay listen Ame's. I'm gonna have to go really fast. If you don't wanna die, you're gonna have to deal
with it."
Amy nodded and buckled up. Sonic backed up quickly knocking the alien off his roof and sped off.
Sonic pressed
on the accelerator and drove at 80mph. Amy looked out the back window.
The aliens were running right behind them.
Amy:" SONIC!! They're right behind us!!"
Sonic:” I know!"
He sped up to 90mph. The aliens ran faster and caught to them.
Amy:” Sonic why did you want me in the back seat?"
Sonic:"(thinking) That was random."
Suddenly, the passenger window broke. An alien held on to the car door.
Sonic:” Amy! Hold the wheel while I take care of Ugly!!"
Sonic hopped in the passenger seat and Amy drove. Sonic punched the alien in the face. It let go and tumbled
to the ground.
Sonic:" Phew! To answer your question, that is exactly why I wanted you in the back. You could've been
shredded to pieces when that window broke."
Amy:"(thinking) Maybe, he does care about me."
Sonic:" Alright Ame's, you can let me drive now."
Amy smiled and shook her head.
Sonic:” Amy, let me drive."
Amy:” No! This is fun!
Sonic smiled and sat back in the seat. Amy grinned evilly and turned a corner sharply. Sonic screamed.
Sonic:” AMY!! DON'T DO THAT!!"
Amy:” Hey, Sonic if you wanna go out with me you're gonna have to adjust to some things! HA HA!"
Sonic:” You're mocking me! You hypocrite!"
He started laughing as she began to poke him in the side.
Sonic:" HA HA! HEH HEH! Amy! Ha! That tickles! HA HA! STOP! HEH HEH!"
They both stopped laughing as they noticed the aliens were not behind him anymore.
Amy:” Where...are they?"
Sonic:” I don't-AMY BRAKE!!"
Amy slowed down and stopped.
Amy:” Oh Sonic! Stop being such a worry wart!"
Sonic:” Amy...you might wanna take a look at what's in front of you!"
Amy looked out the front window and gasped. Fifty black aliens stood in front of them.
Amy:" Uh oh."
Sonic:” Yeah, uh oh!"
The aliens walked towards the car. Amy placed her foot on the gas pedal.
Sonic:” What the heck do you think you are fixin' to do?!"
Amy:” I'm gonna run over this crowd!!"
She sped off sending aliens flying.
Amy:" HA HA! Smell ya later Slime balls!!"
Sonic looked at her.
Sonic:"(thinking) WOW! She's AWESOME!"
Amy:" Alright! I've had my fun! You can drive now Sonic."
Amy pulled over and switched seats with Sonic. Sonic sped off knocking over another alien.
The aliens gave up and ran away. Amy and Sonic sighed in relief.
Amy:” They're gone."
Sonic was silent for a moment.
Amy:” What's wrong?"
Sonic:" Whoah...that was...weird!"
Amy:” What was weird?"
Sonic:” What you just did! I've never seen you act like that! That was....amazing!"
Amy smiled.
Amy:” Do you think....they'll come back?"
Sonic:” Maybe....but next time we'll be prepared. I'm not gonna use butcher knives again!"
Amy laughed. Sonic looked at her. Her eyes glistened in the moonlight.
Sonic:(thinking) Her eyes are so beautiful. I can't believe she's smiling after what she just went through!"
Sonic pulled into the driveway of the house. The people of the neighborhood ran around gathering food
and packed stuff in their cars. The front door was lying on the ground and the window was broken.
Sonic:" HOLY COW!!What Happened?!"
He jumped out of the car and ran inside. Knuckles was kneeling by Tails who was lying on the ground.
Sonic:” TAILS!....Knuckles, what-"
Knuckles:” We were attacked...by a strange creature...a couple actually. Tails tried to protect Cream
and was hit in the head by one of it's tentacle things. The power on this side of town is back on
and the news reporters are saying they're aliens! And, that Eggman created them."
Sonic placed his hand on Tails's head.
Sonic:” How'd you get 'em to leave?"
Knuckles:” They just did! It was like someone called them back to their force!"
Sonic put Tails on the couch and placed an ice pack on his head.
Tails:" Uhhhh....wha...Sonic?"
Sonic smiled.
Sonic:” It's gonna be alright bro!"
Knuckles:” So, where's your date?"
Sonic:” Oh my gosh! Amy! I forgot her in the car!"
Sonic ran outside. Amy sat in the car with her hands on her hips. Sonic opened her car door.
Amy glared at him.
Sonic:" Heh heh...sorry. Tails got hurt."
Amy:” Is he okay?"
Sonic:” He's fine."
He picked her up and carried her inside. He sat her on a chair. Knuckles looked at him confused.
Knuckles:” Did ya'll get married or something?"
Sonic:” NO!"
Sonic told him about Amy's accident.
Knuckles:" Ooo, ow! Did it hurt?"
Amy and Sonic stared at Knuckles.
Sonic:” Is that a rhetorical question?"
Amy:"(sarcastically) No Knuckles. It didn't hurt."
Knuckles:” It didn't?"
Amy:” OF COURSE IT DID YOU IDIOT!!!!"
Knuckles fell back from her scream. Amy laughed and Sonic stared at her...romantically.
Knuckles:” Yahoo, Sonic? Are you in there?"
Sonic snapped out of his daze.
Sonic:” What? Who died?"
Knuckles:” No one you retard! You just dazed a bit! (thinking) Well,well,well look who finally found his girl.
And I thought "love" and "Sonic" didn't belong in the same category. Boy was I wrong!"
Sonic:” So what time is it?"
Knuckles:” It's midnight."
Sonic:” Well, I don't know about you guys but I'm tired. I'm going to bed. Wake me up if anything bad happens. Ame's...you gonna be alright. 'Cause if you're not...I'll stay by you."
Amy:” I'm fine Sonic. You go rest."
Sonic nodded and walked up to his bedroom and shut the door. He lay down on his bed and starred at the ceiling. He couldn't stop thinking about Amy.
Sonic:” Gosh she's awesome!"
???:"Really?"
Sonic sat up startled. Knuckles stood there smiling.
Knuckles:” So, you like her?"
Sonic:” Nope."
Knuckles:” As if Sonic! I just heard you!"
Sonic:” I don't like her."
Knuckles starred at him. Sonic smiled and Knuckles finally got his meaning.
Knuckles:” Aye, but you love her."
Sonic:” I hate to say it but...yep."
Knuckles:” How much?"
Sonic:" Um.....more than running."
Knuckles:” HOLY COW!!*Falls backwards* You could make someone fall off a balcony from a heart attack
just by saying that!! TAKE IT BACK!! TAKE IT BAACCKK!!!"
Sonic:” I can't! I'm afraid I've fallen madly in love with her. I can't stop thinking about her Knux! I just CAN'T!!
I've fallen too deep!!"
Knuckles looked at him in shock.
Knuckles:” Have you told her?"
Sonic:” No. But how do I?"
Knuckles:" SONIC! You just do! Amester's dream is to here you say that! She's not gonna whack you upside
the head!"
Sonic:” No, I mean....I'm way too busy right now to have a relationship. And I'm afraid...I-I-I'm afraid..."
Knuckles:” What?"
Sonic exhaled.
Sonic:” I'm afraid that if she gets hurt....my life will be...destroyed."
Knuckles shook his head in disbelief.
Knuckles:"....This is strange. Sonic the Hedgehog fell in love with Amy Rose. It just doesn't seem....right."
Sonic:"....I'm goin' to bed."
Knuckles:" Allright, later Sonic!"
Knuckles walked towards the door.
Sonic:” Oh and Knuckster."
Knuckles glared.
Knuckles:” What?"
Sonic:” Don't tell her. If she finds out at all, I wanna tell her."
Knuckles nodded and walked out. Sonic laid back on his pillow and fell asleep.
