It Doesn't Matter Chapter 2, Is Something Wrong With Me?
Sonic woke up the next day and pushed the door off of him. He stretched his arms and walked down stairs.
He grabbed some breakfast, walked back to his room and turned on his TV.
TV:" Todays forecast: A 70% chance of thunderstorms and rain are due for Emerald Town.
Thick storm clouds fill the sky."
Sonic looked out his window. Black clouds covered the horizon and rain poured.
???:"Don't think that changes anything!"
Sonic spun around. Amy stood there glaring at him.
Sonic:"B-But it's raining!"
Amy:” We can take an umbrella! And it might clear up!"
Sonic:” But what if it get's worse! And what if I don't want to go!"
Amy's eyes fell and filled with tears.
Amy:” Sonic......you......you promised."
She sat down on the ground and started to cry. Sonic ran over to her.
Sonic:” Oh Amy! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it Ame's! I didn't!"
He took her by the shoulders and turned her toward him. She looked at him in the eyes.
Sonic:"....I didn't mean it. I was kidding. I'll take you out."
Amy:” You will?"
Sonic:” Of course! I don't brake promises!"
Amy smiled.
Amy:".....okay."
Sonic wiped away her tears and she hugged him. Sonic got up and tried to walk away when she grabbed
his arm.
Amy:” Sonic...."
Sonic:” What?"
Amy smiled sweetly.
Amy:” I love you!"
Sonic gulped hard and blushed. He turned toward her and starred into her eyes. They looked at each othe
r for a moment.
Sonic:” I...uh*ahem*...gotta go."
He helped her up and walked out of the room.
Sonic:"(thinking) What is this feeling that has come over me? My heart I think is racin' faster than I can run!"
He wiped sweat of his forehead.
Sonic:” I'm sweating like CRAZY!"
Knuckles:” Dude! You seriously are! Are you sick!?!"
Sonic:” I think so!"
Knuckles:” You look like you're about to barf!"
Amy walked down the stairs and stopped by them.
Amy:" Hey Knuckles! Hi Sonic."
She winked at him and skipped to the kitchen.
Knuckles:” Are you two...like goin' out now?"
Sonic:” No! I'm just takin' her out tonight for a while."
Knuckles:" Awhile eh?"
He patted Sonic on the shoulder.
Knuckles:” Don't stay out to long lover boy! HA HA HA!"
Sonic growled at Knuckles.
Knuckles:" Hey you know Eggmans missin'"
Sonic:" Yeah, it's so weird. He hasn't been seen for two months! I wonder where he is."
Knuckles:" I daknow. But let's hope he doesn't show up for a long time!"
Sonic:” Yeah...I guess, but it's been kinda boring around here."
Knuckles:” Well personally, I hope he's DEAD! I'm glad he hasn't been seen."
Knuckles walked to the living room and turned on the new TV.
TV:” We interrupt this broadcast to bring you important news. Eggman has been spotted underground.
Some troops from the military base G.U.N found him but many were killed by his robots..."
Knuckles:” Sonic, you'd better take a look at this!"
Sonic ran into the living room.
TV:" We don't know what he's up to, but we will hopefully find out soon. Now back to Barney!
*Barney theme song plays*”
Knuckles:" AHHHHHH! The purple guy's on!"
Sonic:” I swear that show will give you brain damage!"
Charmy:" YAY! My show's on!"
Amy went back to her room. She pulled her red, silk prom dress and began to dance around the room.
Amy:"*sigh* tonight's gonna be great!"
Cream:” I think you're happier today then you've ever been!"
Amy:” It's because I'm so madly in love!"
Cream:” I hope you have fun tonight! Hey! Maybe you'll get lucky and get your very first...kiss*giggles*"
Amy stopped dancing and lit up. She slowly dazed off into a daydream...
~dream~
Sonic and her sat on the beach gazing off into the sunset. The sky was lit with bright pinks, purples,
and oranges.
Amy:” It's so beautiful!"
Sonic:” Yes it is. Not as beautiful as you though!"
Amy:” Really?"
Sonic:” Yes Amy. You are so pretty. I love you so much."
Amy sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder.
Sonic:” Someday, when this war between Eggman and me is over, we can be together forever.
I promise you!"
Amy:” How can you promise that!? Eggman will never give up!"
She got up and tried to walk away when Sonic stood up and grabbed her hand.
Sonic:” I can promise you with this..."
He slippped a 14k diamond ring on her finger. (You can tell this is a dream)
Amy gasped.
Amy:".....it's.....it's.....Oh Sonic I'm speechless! I love you!"
She embraced him. Sonic held her close to him. They starred into each others eyes. Sonic smiled
and slowly began to press his lips against hers. They stood there in their romantic embrace...
~end dream~
Cream:” AMY! Are you okay?!"
Amy blinked snapping out of her daze.
Cream:” You've been standing there for almost twenty minutes!"
Amy:" Huh? Oh, silly me! I dazed off into a day dream!"
Cream:” I tried waking you up like ten times! Sonic tried about six!"
Amy:” Sonic?!....did I say anything?"
Cream:” No, but you smiled constantly!"
Sonic:” AMY! What happened?!"
Amy:” Oh....I just....dazed off!"
Sonic:” Well...I'm glad you're okay! BYE!
He sped out of the room and down the stairs. Amy and Cream smiled.
Cream:” So , you think he loves you?"
Amy:” Of course Sonic loves me!"
(In the kitchen)
Charmy:" YOU LIKE AMY! No wait...YOU L OVE AMY!"
Sonic:"CHARMY! SHUT UP! I DO NOT LOVE AMY!"
Vector:" CHARMY!"
Charmy:" Your soap operas are on alligator man! Why do you care?!"
Vector turned red from embarrassment.
Vector:"Espio, Mighty! Take care of Charmy! I gotta... go watch TV."
He zipped out of the room. Espio and Mighty traded glances with one another. They starred at Charmy
who was now banging pots together and screaming like a Heavy Metal rocker.
Espio:" I gotta go and meditate."
Mighty:” I gotta...go meditate too!"
Espio:" You don't know how to meditate."
Mighty:” Well, I'm gonna start now! Good luck Sonic!"
Sonic:” Guys! W-W-W-Wait! I gotta go somewhere tonight!"
Sonic felt something slimy on his head. Charmy had sprayed whipped cream all over Sonics spines and ears.
