Not just friends
He was trying to see were the black hedgehog went. Not knowing what hit him, Eggman found himself on the ground. And there right in front of him was Shadow.
"Now I will ask one last time doctor", Shadow said while holding his right hand out to Eggman. "Give me the key."
Eggman hesitated. "I-I wont," he said as he stood up right. Shadow's evil smile went to a frown as he pushed Eggman to the ground once more.
"I told you that was the last time, now, you will pay." Shadow was going to do spin dash into Eggman when suddenly a blue blur went by. Shadow was confused. "Ah, where did you go egghead," shadow said from the top
of his lungs.
For some reason, Sonic saved Eggman, he set him down about 20 miles away, on the ground. Eggman opened
his eyes. "What, you saved...me"?
Sonic gave him his smile and thumbs up. "Don't get used to it." After Sonic said that, he ran back to where Shadow was.
Eggman was still confused. "I...I just don't understand. Why would Sonic save me after all the time I tried to get ride of him?" Eggman got up and walked to his layer about 2 miles away.
The excited pink hedgehog skipped to the park. She looked around happily as she picked a delicate bright red rose. "I love roses." Amy sniffed the flower, "Ah, nothing better than the sweet smell of...." Amy was cut off by some other smell. "Smoke! Amy rushed to where she could smell the smoke. She dropped the rose she was holding on the way. "I hope everything is alright."
Amy finally stopped where she saw Sonic and Shadow fighting while a train was passing by the tracks. Amy was relieved to know it was just the park train and not fire. Amy remembered that Sonic and Shadow were fighting.
She thought she had to put a stop to this. She ran out in the middle of the fight. Sonic noticed her first thinking, what in the world is she doing here? Shadow was not paying attention to her when he acidentally knocked her over.
"Ahhh," Amy yelled as she was pushed against a tree. "Amy!" Sonic yelled as he ran up to her.
"Opps,"Shadow said hoping he didn't hurt her, not that he really cared.
"Amy, wake up," Sonic said. "Wha-what happened?" "Amy, you're okay,' Sonic said.
"S-Sonic, hi."
"Amy, are you hurt"?
"No, I am okay," Amy said while standing up with the help of Sonic.
"That's good."
But Amy was wrong, she fell the instant she stood.
"Amy, I think we better get you to the doctors." Sonic looked at Shadow angrily. Shadow thought to himself:
What, I don't want to say sorry, I wont, I-I don't want to and no one can make me.
Amy sat on her couch as she drank some 7up. "I am glad you're keeping me company Sonic."
"Ah, no prob Ames, just tell me if you need anything."
Amy has injured her right ankle. Her doctor said she can take her cast off in 2 weeks. "I really want to say thanks again Sonic, I don't know how I could of gotten out of that park without falling."
Sonic smiled at her, "No prob Amy, now, are you ready for your medicine"? Amy made a disgusting look on her face like she had just eaten a lemon. "No thanks."
"You have to Amy, if you don't, you won't get better." Sonic went into the kitchen and got her medicine.
"I am so glad Sonic is with me."
Sonic came back into the room. "Here you go, the first time you'll start taking this medicine." Sonic thought of something while he tried to open the lid, (Sonic's thoughts: Wait, if I am going to give her this medicine, I will have to give it to her on a spoon. That's like, feeding her, even if I am not hurt, I still don't feel good. Sonic finally got the cap open. He poured some in a spoon. The medicine didn't look too bad, it was dark purple like a ripe plum.
"Open wide," Sonic said to Amy. Amy looked at the spoon.
"I am not taking that."
"You have to."
"But, it looks disgusting."
"If you want to get better, you will take this."
Amy looked at Sonic," Do I have to"? Sonic nodded to Amy. "Oh...all right, but only if I can take a few sips of my 7up when I am through."
Sonic picked up her drink and handed it to her. "There, now take this." Sonic held the spoon to her mouth,
Amy opened and took the medicine. She swallowed and took some swigs of her 7up.
"Now that wasn't so bad was it," Sonic asked Amy.
"No, no it wasn't."
Sonic said in his mind: Shadow, you will apologize.
The next morning, Amy woke up at about 5:00. "Man, it's early, I'd better get back to be-" But before she could finish, she saw Sonic sleeping on the recliner chair.
"He is so cute when he is asleep, wait, he stayed here all night, and he must really care." Amy couldn't resist, she carefully got up with her crunches and got Sonic up.
"Wha-what, what happened"? Sonic sat up wondering why she got him up.
"I was, well...I thinking that you might want to go home." Sonic was confused, she always wanted him around.
"Why, what happened, or what didn't happen yet"?
"I just thought since you were here so long, you wanted to go to your house."
"It's okay Amy, I will stay here and help you until you get better if you like." Amy looked at him in excitement.
"You will"!
"Of course I will." Sonic smiled at Amy, she smiled back. Sonic helped her sit back down on the couch.
"There, you stay here okay." Amy laid back down, and she slowly went back to sleep.
Sonic's thoughts: I wish I could tell her how I feel, then she would want to get better because she will know what she could do. Maybe when she gets better, then I can take her out to do something fun. Or maybe, ask her today. Sonic made sure Amy was asleep and gently kissed her on her forehead.
"Good night Amy." Sonic slowly got up and went back to the chair he was sitting in earlier, and went back to sleep.
It was now about 9 am, Amy didn't really listen to Sonic and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. Amy's thoughts: I hope Sonic will like my cooking, I never cooked for him. What if he doesn't like it? I'll do my best. The smell of eggs woke up Sonic. "What the, eggs"? Sonic sat up in the chair and stood up. Walking into the kitchen he saw Amy cooking. "Amy, what are you doing"? The sound of Sonic's voice scared her because she didn't know he would be up yet. She fell to the ground falling on her ankle. "Ahhhhhh"! "Amy"! Sonic ran to Amy hoping she was okay." Sonic knelt down to help her up. Amy sat up on the floor. "Ow?" "Amy, did you hurt yourself"? "No, I'm fine." What they didn't know was that Sonic was helping Amy sit up by holding her hand. Amy thought she felt something so she looked at her hand, Sonic and Amy's hand were together. Amy blushed as Sonic noticed it, he also blushed but tried to hold it back. "I think we should stand up now". Sonic said while helping Amy up and giving back her crouches. "Thanks Sonic." "You're welcome Ames." Sonic took his hand away from Amy's slowly because he didn't want to be rude and pull it away. Sonic and Amy were standing there when Amy smelt something, the eggs were burning! Sonic saw that it was catching on fire. "Ahh", Amy yelled frightened. Sonic ran to the fire extinguisher. "Get back Amy." Sonic spread it but nothing came out. "What's wrong", Amy asked. "It's empty." "Amy, we got to get out of here." Suddenly the fire spread to the ceiling. "Sonic, the fire is getting bigger." Amy was scared and Sonic was nervice. "Amy, hold on." Sonic picked up Amy brittle ways and ran to the door. "Sonic look out"! The fire was so big that part of the ceiling fell. Sonic stopped before it hit them. "Amy, we need to call the fire department." "The phone is over there." Amy pointed to the table by the TV. Sonic ran Amy outside and set her down on the ground. 'Sonic where are you going"? "I am going to get the phone." "No Sonic, it's too dangerous." "I have to, the city is to far from here and I wont leave you." "But-" "I'll be fine." Sonic ran in the house. Amy was scared that Sonic might not make it. "Sonic, please, be careful.”Sonic found the phone, luckily it wasn't burned yet. He rushed to the door but another part of the ceiling fell on Sonic. "Ahhh." the fire on the 20 inch piece of wood was hot. Sonic shoved it off and quickly ran outside. "Sonic". "No time to talk." Sonic dialed 911.
The fire department came and put out the fire. Sonic and Amy were sitting in the ambulance. "Sonic, I am glad you stayed with me." Sonic turned to Amy. "If you weren't there for me, I would probably not be here." When Amy finished saying this, she put her hand on top of his. Sonic was nerves about telling her, but he wanted to. "Amy, I wanted to talk to you about something." "Is it about being to close?" "No, it's about, something else." "Oh, what is it"? Sonic sandwiched Amy's hand in his. Amy blushed as Sonic did also. "I wanted to ask you if that when you get better, we could maybe...go somewhere...together, you know, just you and me". "Sonic, I-I don't know what to say." Amy looked at the floor of the ambulance. Sonic put his other hand under her chin and pulled her lips to his. Amy's thought's: Is he, kissing me!!! I want this to last forever!!!!! Sonic's thought's: I can't believe it, I finally told her or what I mean is showed her. That moment will last forever with the two love birds.
The fire department offered to Take Sonic and Amy to one of their friend's house. They decided to go to Tail's house. Sonic and Amy toke their seat in the back of the ambulance. Sonic was still kind of shy from what he did earlier. Amy was so happy right now, said couldn't stay still, but she tried her hardest. "Sonic"? Sonic looked over to Amy getting out of his daydreaming. "Y-ya." "I was wondering, did you really mean what you did". Amy moved closer to him. "Ya, I did, and i sorry it toke so long, I just-" "Really", Amy said in excitement. "Ua...ya, I do mean it." Sonic and Amy smiled at each other. The driver said they were at Tails house. Sonic and Amy got out, they driver said good bye and left.
Tails answered the door as the door bell rang. "Hello." "Hi Tails", Amy said happily. "Wow, Amy, what happened to you"? Tails noticed that Amy had a cast and crotches. "I broke my ankle." "That's too bad." "She's going to be fine, her doctor said she can take is off in 2 weeks", Sonic said trying to cheer up Tails. "I know, but, the Valentines dance is this Saturday." Sonic and Amy looked at each other. "There's a Valentines dance", Sonic and Amy said at the same time. "Ya, and if you have a broken ankle, how will you be able to dance?" Amy was depressed about
that since Sonic and her were now a couple, she couldn't dance with him. "Hey, cheer up, we'll think of something", Sonic said trying to cheer her up. "You really think so?" "I know so, if you want to go, you can." "No, it's just that
I can't dance with these crutches." tails and Sonic looked at each other sadly. "Don't worry Amy, maybe, I could postpone it until next Saturday." "You'll do that for me?" "Of course, but, I'll have to tell the others somehow." "Hey, at least it will be closer to Valentines day", Sonic said because Valentines Day wasn't until the Sunday. "You're right Sonic, will just have to work it out," Amy said knowing she'll be able to dance with her hero.
Tails called everyone and told them the dance was moved. Just a few seconds after Tails was done making the calls, the door bell rang. Tails got up and answered it, it was Sonic. "Hi Sonic." "Hi Tails, can I talk to you?" "Sure, come in." Sonic walked in the house and sat down on the couch. Tails in the chair beside him. "So, what do ya need to talk about?" Sonic didn't know where to start. "Well...it's about Amy." "did you yell at her again?" "No, something else." Tails thought about it. "Did she ask you to be her date"? Tails rolled his eyes and then turned back to Sonic. "No, I want to ask her." Tail's mouth opened. "You do"? "Well, you see, it's a long story." "Go on." "It all started when Amy's house caught on fire-" "Amy's house caught on fire!!!!" "Oh, did I forget to tell you?" Tails was too stund to say something. "See, when we were sitting in the ambulance, I told her something that I always wanted to. I wanted to wait for the right time, and I thought it was a good time to tell her." "What'd ya say?" "I asked her when see got better I could take her...out sometime." "You asked her out!!!" "Ya, and I did more than that." "What did you do now?" "I...I kissed her." "WHAT, YOU KISSED HER!!!!!!!!!" Tails was shocked. "It's not that big of a deal, is it?" "Sure it is, now you guys will become a couple and...and-" "Chill little buddy." "Did you really like her?" "Not I did, I do."
Amy was at Cream's house since her house caught on fire. Cream's mother didn't mind, there was a spare bedroom so it worked out. "Cream." "Yes, Amy." "I just wanted to know if you're going to the valentines dance this Saturday." "Of course I am, and mother might come too." "That's great, do you know what else?" "What?" "I am getting my cast removed tomorrow!" "Wow that's great Amy." Vanilla walked in the room. "Hello girls, do you want some tea?" "Yes please mother." "Sure why not." Vanilla filled Amy's and Cream's cup with warm tea. "If you want some more just ask okay?" "Thank you mother." "Thanks Vanilla." "You're welcome." Vanilla went back into the living room to do more knitting. Sonic was doing his daily running when he spotted a girl. Sonic stopped to see well. It was another hedgehog that was purple
and had a yellow T-shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, her hair was like Amy's but longer and her eyes were a bright sky blue. She was sitting on a rock looking out at the lake. "Are you okay," Sonic asked the strange girl. She immediately turned around. She jumped off the rock and she looked like she saw a ghost. "Um..hi," Sonic said again. "Ua....hi." "I've never seen you here before, are you new", Sonic asked. "I-I just moved here, hey, you're Sonic right?" "Yep, that's me, the one and only, have we met before?" "No, I just know who you are because I heard of you on the television." Sonic didn't know what to say, so he tried to say something before she left. "So, what's your name?" "Oh...my name is Samantha."
The day finally came when Amy could get her cast off. "Yes, today is the day!!!!!!!!!!' Amy was so happy that she will be free from the heavy, scratchy cast. "Amy, I've haven't heard you so happy in a while," Cream said. "I am so happy because tomorrow is the dance, and I'll have my cast off."

Sonic walked Samantha home last night and he couldn't get her out of his head. "Why do I keep thinking about her, we just meet?" Sonic ran back to his house, it was about 10:08 when he got home. "I'd better get to bed, tomorrow is when Amy gets her cast off, and I promised her that I'll be there when she's done." Sonic ran up the stairs, got cleaned up and went to bed.

Amy finished her breakfast, she ate so fast that her stomach hurt. "Amy, slow down, you don't want to go anywhere with a belly ace," Cream said. "Oh, sorry, i am just so excited." Tails offered to take Amy to her doctors, it was a long way. When Tails and Amy were ready to go, they took off. Cream and Vanilla waved good bye as the X Tornado flow away. "Thanks again Tails for taking me." "You're welcome Amy, anything to help a friend."
Sonic was getting ready to run to Amy's doctors when he heard someone call his name. "Sonic"! Sonic turned to see who is was, it was Samantha. "Hey Sam." "Hi Sonic, I wanted to inform you that I am now moved in my new home." "That's great, hey, do you want to come with me?" "Where are you going?" "I am going to see Amy, she is getting her cast removed." "What happened?" "It's a long story, so, you want to come?" "Well, I guess, there's nothing else to do." "Okay, hold on okay." "Hold onto whaaaaaaaa!" Sonic picked up Samantha and he ran off. When they got to the doctor office, Sonic put Sam down. "Wow, I've never traveled like that before." "It's a good way to get hear from there." "Sonic?" "Ya Sam." "Is Amy your sister?" "No, she's my girlfriend." "She's what-I mean, oh." "Come on, we don't want to be late." Sonic and Sam went in the building.
When Sonic and Sam finally found Amy's room, they went in. "Sonic, what took you so long, and who's your new friend?" "Oh, this is Sam. Sam, Amy, Amy, Sam." "Nice to meet you Amy." "Nice to meet you too." "Hey Sonic." "Ya Ames." Take a look at this." Amy showed Sonic that her cast was off. "Wow that's great Amy." Amy got out of bed and walked over to Sonic. "Let's get going," Amy said will holding on to Sonic's arm. "Wait," Sam said, "Well, I mean that...um....maybe before we all go home...we could…maybe go out to eat." "Great idea Sam," Sonic said. "But where should we go," Amy asked. "Maybe...." But Sam was interrupted by a big explosion outside. "Ahhhhhh," Amy and Sam said at the same time." "Don't worry, you guys stay in here- "No Sonic," Amy interrupted, "I am going with you." "No you- “I am going with you and you can't stop me." Amy ran past Sonic but he grabbed her arm. "Amy, I don't want you to get hurt again." "I won't, and with you there with me, I feel safe. Come on." Amy got out of Sonic's grip and headed out. Sonic wasn't so sure, but he knew he could trust her. "Sonic." "Sam, you stay here." But I- "You don't have anything protect you, you stay here." "But Amy doesn't ether." "You've got a lot to learn about Amy." Sonic winked at Sam and ran out. Sam's thoughts: I'll show him that I can be as tough as Amy, and he'll fall for me instead of that pinky girl. Sam headed out.
Eggman was at it again. "Eggman, give it up," Sonic said. "No way, and by the looks of it, I am winning." "Are not," Amy said while jumping up at Eggman when he was sitting in his floating plane thing. Amy took a good swing at him but missed. Amy was caught by a claw. "Ahh, let me go!" Amy was trying to get out but every time she moved, it gripped harder. "Ahhh." "Amy, Eggman let her go, now, or you'll be sorry." "No, come get her." Sonic charged Eggman, he went in his spin dash and tried to go through the claws arm, but it was too strong and he got pushed back. "Oww," Sonic landed on his stomach. "Nice one, hedgehog." Eggman aimed his laser at Sonic. "Now you will play nicely or I will fry you." "No, leave him alone," Amy said. Sam was hiding behind a bush observing Eggman's moves. "He's one tough guy, if he can get Sonic to the ground, I think I just found a partner." Sam stayed quiet and watched. "What do you want Eggman?" "Let's see...I can probably get you to do anything right at this moment sooooo." "No, leave him alone," Amy yelled again. "Quiet pinky." "You be quiet egghead." Eggman was getting feed up with Amy's mouth. "I said be quiet!" Eggman made his claw throw Amy to the ground, hard. "Amy!" Sonic yelled frightened Amy was hurt. Eggman has gone too far.
Amy was lying on the ground lifeless. "Amy, please, wake up." Sonic was sitting by her with one of his hands behind her head. "Amy, please, I don't want to lose you." for the first time Sonic had tears in his eyes. "Aww, is the little baby hedgehog crying," Eggman said, but what he did not know was that some chaos emeralds were underneath them. The ground started to turn a purple color. Chaos emeralds came out of the ground, they looked like normal chaos emeralds, but were black around them. "Well, what do you know, dark chaos emeralds," Sonic said in an evil way. "Dark chaos emeralds, never heard of them." "Well, there are other things you never seen before." "Oh, like Amy suffering over there, hahaha." "You don't know what you're getting into Eggman," Sonic said while his hands turned into fists. "Oh really." "Really." Sam didn't know what was going on. Sonic closed his eyes while his body turned pitch black and a blue light going around him like when he's super and it's yellow. Eggman didn't know what was happening, he was thinking that he's probably in big trouble. Sonic's eyes snatched open and they were plan white, no pupils or irises, just white. Sam was scared out of her wits and didn't know what do to. Eggman was freaked out by this seen. "I told there were things you've never seen before, and things you never felt." Sonic hit Eggman's plane with intense speed than pushed him down to the ground. "No one hurts my friends," Sonic said evilly while he held out his hands and bright red things formed in his palms.
Sam has never seen anyone like this before, she wanted to get up and run but she didn't want to miss this. "S-Sonic, why are y-you like that," Eggman asked nervously. Sonic was still standing there with his palms still full with red fires. "I got the energy from the dark chaos emeralds, when I am angry I can transform into dark supersonic." Sonic turned back to Eggman. Eggman didn't like the way his plane white eyes stared into his. "What are you going to do," Eggman asked. "I don't know yet, maybe...make you pay for what you did to Amy!!!" "No, please Sonic, I beg of you." Sonic was a little confused. "You beg me not to hurt you?" Eggman was confused too, he never begged, especially not to Sonic. "Well...yes please don't hurt me- "I don't think so," a voice said. Sonic was pushed away to the ground. "Ahh," Sonic yelled has he rolled on the ground hurt from the fall. "You can't hurt him, I still need the key." Low and behold, it was Shadow. "Shadow, you saved me," Eggman said like he was buttering him up like he does to Knuckles. " Don't start with me Eggman, I only saved you because I want that key." Eggman thought of a plan. "If you get ride of Sonic, I will give you the key," Eggman said while he held out his hand for Shadow to shake. Shadow made his evil smile. "Deal."
Shadow stood above Sonic. Sonic opened his eyes and sat up, he noticed he was back to normal. "Shadow, is that you?" "Yes, yes it is. It's nice to know you remember me." "I'll never forget you after what you did to Amy, both you and Eggman", Sonic stood up right. "Both of you hurt her and I am not happy about it." "Now, now Sonic, you have yourself to blame." "What, I didn't do anything to her!!" "That's what you think." "That's what I know." Sonic and Shadow stared at each other getting ready to fight, when they heard a moan. "Amy," Sonic said in excitement. Sonic rushed over to her forgetting Shadow. "Amy, are you okay." "S-Sonic, what happened?" "It's okay, come on." Sonic helped her stand up. Shadow watched and came over to them. "Don't even get near her Shadow," Sonic said to him like he was threatening him. "Ha, I made a deal with Egghead that if I get ride of you he will give me the key." "What key," Sonic asked. "None of your business." Shadow made a fist and punched Sonic in the face. Amy fell to the ground unhurt. "Sonic," Amy yelled. Sonic fell to his stomach. He was at least hit a half a mile away. Shadow stood over him so his shadow was over him. "I have improved on my punches, you like how I hit harder." Sonic opened his eye. "You won't win," Sonic said weakly. "Oh, I already have." Shadow pulled Sonic to his feet by pulling him up by his arm. "Ah," Sonic said. Shadow made a fist and hit as hard as he could. Sonic blacked out.
Everything hurt, he couldn't move. Sonic tried to sit up but it hurt too much. Amy noticed he awoke. "Amy," Sonic said weakly. "Sh, it's okay Sonic. I am glad to see you're alright." Amy set him back down so he could rest more. "What happened?" Amy decided to tell him. "Shadow made you pass out. You were out for a long time, maybe about..." Amy looked at the clock. "For about 12 hours." "Really, where is he now?" "He's...with Eggman."
Eggman seemed proud of himself, but to notice that Shadow is the one that really got Sonic to fall before them he felt a little weird. Shadow doesn't know why he joined Eggman, because he's a inconsiderate messed up in the head to take over the world kind of guy. But the only reason is to get the key, but still Eggman still didn't do his half of the bargen. Shadow got up from the wall he was leaning on and walked over to Eggman while he sat in his over dramatic chair. It was like a chair you would see a king sit on, but not as fancy. "Eggman," Shadow said shocking Eggman. "Shadow, wha-what do you want?" Eggman turned his chair so he could face Shadow. "I was wondering. When are you going to do your part of the deal?" "What deal," Eggman said mysteriously. "Don't you remember we made a deal you would give me the key if I got ride of Sonic- "But Sonic is still alive." Eggman was right, Sonic was still alive. "Well...I-you proved your point now Eggman but I will get that key and Sonic will not see the light again." Shadow walked out of the room. "Shadow," Eggman stopped him. Shadow looked back. "Yes." "Don't let me down." "I won't, I won't rest until that hedgehog is eliminated for good." Shadow ran out the door determined to get that key.
Sonic felt bad for Amy, she was staying with him the whole day. She was sitting on the bed beside of him making sure he was okay. "Amy." "Yes Sonic." "I'm...I'm sorry." "For what?" "In the mess I'm in, I can't go to the dance with you," Sonic said sadly. Amy just realized that and felt sad. "Maybe when I get better, I can take you somewhere." Amy had a small tear under her eye. Sonic noticed it and gently wiped it off with his finger. Amy turned to him smiling. He sat up and hugged her, she hugged back. They let go and looked at each other in the eyes. Amy loved Sonic's emerald green eyes, they were like chaos emeralds or a beautiful gem that Rouge could probably make out. And Sonic loved Amy's light green eyes, they sparkled as they looked happily into his. Suddenly a knock on the door interrupted the moment. Sam walked in as she thought: This is it, he is mine. She noticed they were close together. She felt weird inside, but her heart told her she had to.
Sam needed a way to get Amy to come outside with her. Amy and Sonic were sitting there wondering what Sam was up to. Amy got up and walked over to her. "Hello Sam. As you can see, Sonic is injured and he needs time to rest so........" Amy stopped, she didn't feel comfortable telling her to leave, but she really didn't like Sam that much. "Well...I was wondering if I could......show you something outside for a moment," Sam told
her. Amy didn't want to leave Sonic, but she knew he would be fine. "Alright. Sonic, I'll be right back K." Amy waved at Sonic for fun. "Okay," Sonic said to her, he waved back. Amy followed Sam out the bedroom door. Sonic sat there patiently, bored, something he didn't like, but he dealt with it. Amy and Sam finally reached the outdoors. "Okay Sam, what is it you need to show me." Amy had no idea about Sam's little trap. "Right this way." Sam ran into the trees and shrubs, Amy followed Sam into the deep woods. "How much further Sam," Amy said out of breath. "Just a little more...................where're here." Sam and Amy ended up at the old scrap yard. There were old pieces of medal and junky cars all around. "Why'd you bring me here Sam?" "So no one can hear you scream." Sam had an evil grin on her face, not as dense as Shadow's, but close. "Wha-what do you mean?" Sam's arm turned into something similar to the tool you use to cut pizza, the round ones. I think you get what I mean. "Ahh, you're.......a robot!" Amy yelled scared of what might happen next.
Sam came closer to her, she didn't know what to do. Sam was right, no one could hear her this far away. "Sam, why." Amy said still backing away. "I want Sonic for myself. I can see he likes you and I like him. The only way for me to get a chance with him is to get ride of you." Sam came closer, Amy was trapped. As she backed more, she hit a wall of cars pilled high. "Sam, please. Why can't we just be friends, you need Soni- "Silence. No one tells me what to do, especially you, you picky princess." Sam got close to her, she was right in front of her. Sam held her slicer close to Amy's thoughts: Amy gulped, trying not to let Sam see. Amy started to cry, thinking about Sonic, how she's going to never see him again. His smile, his eyes, everything unique about him. "Aww, is the poor pinky crying." Sam was going to strike, when suddenly she was pushed down by a force. "Sonic!!!" Amy said glad to see him. Sonic was on top of Sam making sure she couldn't move. "What's going on here Sam?" Sonic said angrily . "Nothing, nothing at all." "Oh really, then why were you trying to slice Amy's head off with that...that thing on your arm?" Sam was caught, Sonic now knew she was a robot. There was a moment of silence. Sam looked up at Sonic trying to look innocent. Amy stood there watching in complete silence. "What is this all about?" Sonic said again wanting an answer. "I-I. I wanted you for my own, and i had to get ride of Amy first." Sonic was shocked. "You mean you're out to ger ride of Amy just for me?" Sam nodded. Sonic was still shocked. At the right moment, Sam got out of Sonic's grip. She was now on top of Sonic. "Ha-ha, now you will be mine or- "STOP" Amy yelled, she couldn't take much more. She knows she had to take care of business.
Amy's hammer went in her hands. Sam never knew she had a hammer, it came out of no where. Sonic was still under Sam which was really heavy because she's made of medal. "Get...off...of....Sonic...right...now." Amy said in a mad voice. The way she spoke even surprised Sonic. "Make me....pinky." Sam said un a where that she was in for a big beating. Amy lifted her head and stared at Sam. The look on her face was fierce. This surprised Sonic too. Sam thought this was just so creepy. Amy started to run at Sam, but out of no where, an electric net when all around Amy. "Amy," Sonic yelled. "You be quiet." Sam snapped at Sonic. Sonic made an angry face at her. She made one back. Sonic's arms were also getting mashed. He tried to move them, but every time he moved, it got tighter. "Let me out of here!" "No way." Sam sat up and pulled Sonic up with her. "Hey, watch it." Sam turned to Sonic. "You don't tell me what to do. I tell you what to do." Amy struggled to get out, but it kept shocking her. "Sonic!" Amy yelled. "Sonic's coming with me." Sam said holding his arm hard so he couldn't get loose. "Oww, stop that." Sonic said again to Sam. "I told you to be QUIET!" Sam was so mad at him that she slapped his on the cheek. "Ahh." Sonic held his free hand on his red cheek. "What was that for?" "For you to SHUT UP!" Sonic was getting sick of her. If he was free he would show her. Well...she's a girl but a girl robot so she's not a real person. Then suddenly a shadow hovered over Sonic and Sam. A green colored light all on them and got pulled up into the ship. "Sonic!," Amy yelled to him. "Amy!" Sonic yelled back. Sonic was stuck, he couldn't get loose, and he's loosing Amy. "Let me go Sam." "No honey." Sonic was shocked. Amy saw Sonic and Sam go into the ship. The ship closed its doors and left.
Sonic wasn't very happy. He was sitting on the cold hard floor. It has been at least a day since Sam was holding him hostage. He didn't know if Amy was safe or not. He felt sad and mad at the same time. Sad that Amy might be hurt or not free yet. Mad because Sam seemed to be a really nice girl, but turned out to be a wicked robot. Sonic's ears went up. He heard some foot steps coming his way, it was Sam. Sonic suddenly jumped up and backed up to the cold wall. "Don't be scared little hedgehog. I'm not going to hurt you. Yet." Sam walked in the cell. She came closer. Sonic didn't like it. Sam got right in front of him. "What do you want?" Sonic asked. "Oh, nothing. Just you." "Well you're not going to get me." Sam made a mad grin on her face. "We'll just see about that." Sam grabbed Sonic's arm. "Hey let go!" "No you're coming with me. Someone is here to see you." Sonic pulled back, where ever she was taking him he didn't want to go. "Come on." "No." Sam turned to Sonic. "I said come on!" "Not going to do it." Sam was getting mad. She pulled harder. The pulling was hurting Sonic's arm. She was made of medal so she had a harder grip and a harder pull. Sonic couldn't take it anymore, if he pulls back any longer, he might lose his arm. Sonic let go of the rail that he was holding onto. The force pushed him forward into Sam. She caught him. She liked how he was in her arms, but Sonic wasn't really enjoying it. "Alright I let go so let's go." Sonic said while pulling away from Sam. "Let's go." Sam pulled him to a large room. It had lights, spotlights coming from the ceiling. The room was dark, but the lights made it brighter. "So, who's here to see me?" He asked. "Some other hedgehog that said he could get you to fall in love with me." "What?" Sonic was confused. Walking in from the shadows was Shadow.
Sonic stood there wondering why Shadow wanted to help Sam, what was going on, what was happening. "You look stunned." Shadow said. Sonic grinned at him, knowing that he was the one that made him black out on the last battle. "I want a rematch Shadow." Sam stood there observing both of them. "No, Shadow needs to make you fall in love- "Not now Sam." Shadow snapped. "Bu-but, we made a deal." "I don't make deals with machinery." Suddenly, one of Eggman's robots grabbed Sam and pulled her away from Sonic. "What's going on Shadow," Sam asked. "I never made a deal with you, but if I did I'm not keeping it. I told you I could make Sonic fall-" Shadow was interrupted by a robot stopping Sonic from ramming into him. "As I was saying. I told you I could make Sonic fall in love with you so you would bring him to me.” “What, you tricked me! I want Sonic to fall in love with me!!!!!!" The robot took Sam away. You could hear the eco of her voice saying, "Sonic", and all the way down the hall. Sonic; being held back by a robot, was trying to get free. "You poor, poor hedgehog you. You really think I was going to let you go." "You." "Yes me. I am going to get ride of you once and for all. It seems like I failed the first time. I really thought I had you there, but you're pretty tough, but not tough enough. I am going to get that key and no one is going to stop me. Not even you." Sonic didn't know what to do, Shadow had him and he couldn't get out. Sonic and Shadow heard someone coming. It was Eggman.
"Well, well, well......we meet again...Sonic the Hedgehog." Eggman walked up to the robot holding Sonic. "I...I can't believe it.........you and Shadow. Wait.....the last time I saw you were like....two days ago." "Yes.....so we meet again." This was confusing everyone. "Okay...back on the subject." shadow said as he stood next to Eggman. "E-101, hold Sonic tightly, I don't want him to move." Eggman said. "What's going on now?" Sonic asked. "I didn't really think of a plan because I didn't think I would get this far." Sonic rolled his eyes. "What....you been at your lab doing nothing the whole time!!!" Shadow yelled. "Well.......yes." Shadow hit his hand on his forehead. "This is nuts," Sonic said. "It's time." Eggman went over to Shadow and said. "Defensive maneuver 8." Sonic had no idea what they were talking about. "Oh...I get it now." Shadow said while walking over to Sonic. "This will be fun". Eggman said. Sonic was let go by the robot. Shadow immediately grabbed Sonic by the neck and pushed him to the wall. "ahhh." "You're a goner Sonic." Shadow gripped harder. Sonic was losing air. He couldn't get free. Even if he tried to push Shadow's hand of, he gripped too hard. "Ha-ha, finish him Shadow!!" "It was a pleaser knowing you, Sonic." Sonic couldn't do anything. He couldn't breath. "Egg.....man......you'll…never get away….with….this.” Eggman was shocked. He was winning. This was it. It's over. Sonic........was gone.
Sonic's lifeless body feel to the ground. He lay there on his stomach while Eggman just...looked at him. "Did....that just…happen?" Shadow also stood there staring at his hands. "I....I can't believe I.....really.......did that." Sonic didn't move. "I....I...I-really did it. I finally got ride of Sonic!!" Eggman was happy and a little sad at the same time. "I....I'm taking a rest." Shadow said as he walked off. "Now...what will I do with this?" He ordered a robot to pick up Sonic. "Hum......lets see. I know! Load him in the ship.....I'll give him to his friends. I can't wait to see their faces." The robot did as he was told. Eggman went in and drove off. Amy sat in the chair looking at the blank screen on the TV. "Amy?" Tails walked in. "Oh...hi Tails.”Are you okay?" Amy sighed. "Ya, I'm fine. I just can't seem to get Sonic out of my head." Right at that moment, a loud crash came from the back yard. "What the!" Tails and Amy ran out to see. "I need to practice driving." Eggman said while jumping out. "Eggman!" Tails and Amy said at the same time. "Oh yes. I have a surprise for you." He took Sonic out and held him in his arms so they could see. "SONIC!!!!!" Amy and Tails yelled at the same time. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!!” Amy yelled. "Well lets just say I finally got my revenge." He set him down on the ground. He went back into the ship and left.
Amy and Tails ran over to him. "What's wrong Tails?" Tails checked him out to see what was wrong. "Oh no." "WHAT!!" "I'm afraid he's...." Tails began to tear. "Gone." "WHAT!! No....no-no-no! It can't be-he can't be!!" Amy started to cry. Amy covered her eyes with her hands and cried into them. Tails with one hand under Sonic's head, cried too. They both brought him in to the house. Amy with tears on her cheeks. They sent him on the couch. Amy sat beside him. Tails sat in the chair beside them. Amy gently put her hand on his cheek. Then......a miracle happened.
Sonic's head moved to the right a little. "Sonic?" Amy asked. "This is strange. Sonic didn't have a pulse a few seconds ago." Tails said happy and confused. "Sonic...you're okay!!" Amy said as she stood up from the couch. Sonic's eyes snacked open and he sat up. "What's going on!!??" Sonic held his right hand up to his forehead. "Sonic." Tails and Amy said at the same time. Amy sat back down and hugged him. "Oh Sonic. You're alright. I thought you were a goner!" Amy hugged him as he hugged her back. "Don't worry Amy...I'm right here." They let back a little but were still in each others arms. "Sonic...I can't believe it. You're okay." Tails said. "Don't worry little buddy, I wont leave you guys. Wait....where's that Egghead! I want to show him a piece of my mind?!" "He left and you should stay here. He's off to reek more habick some place else." Tails said as he remembered something. "The party!" "The party?" Sonic and Amy said at the same time. "It's in 5 minutes, everyone else is probably already there!" "Don't worry Tails, we'll make it." "You really think so Sonic?" Amy asked. "Sure." Sonic stood up and held out his hand to Amy. She put her hand in his and held it tight. "Come on guys....lets get this show on the road." Sonic said as he and his two friends headed off to the party.
They were just in time. Everyone was there and those three made it a full house. "Tails, Amy, Sonic...what took you guys so long?" Knuckles asked as he walked up to them. "Long story." Sonic said. The party looked great. They were having it at the Party House. (A place that I made up where anyone can throw a party) There were balloons on strings hanging down from the ceiling. There was a table with punch, some chips and pizza. Did I forget to tell you that the balloons were heart shaped? Yes, the Valentines party finally happened after the re-date. You know...Tails had to reassign it? Anywho....Rouge was there, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese, and the 3 of them, Sonic, Tails and Amy. Tails ran over to the punch bowl. "This place looks wonderful! Don't you think Sonic?" Amy asked. "Ya, it sure does." Knuckles walked away and waved. "Later...I'm going to put on some music." Knuckles went over to the DJ chair and turned on a song. It was Run It by Chris Brown. Everyone started dancing but Sonic and Amy just stood there. Sonic had one of his arms on the other. Amy held her hands behind her back. "Sonic?" Sonic looked at her. "Ya?" 'Um...are you okay?" "Oh...ya...I just...I don't know....I-" Amy stared at him. She just loved how cute he was. Then the song turned to Let Me Love You by Mario. Sonic thought this song was perfect. Amy loved this song. "Um...Amy?" "Yes." D...do you want to dance?" "Um...yes-yes I would love to." Um...well....there's just one problem." "What?" "I don't really like dancing in front of everyone especially if they don't know that we're together." "I was feeling the same way." "I know...come on." Amy pulled Sonic out to the balcony. "Why did you take me here?" Sonic asked. "Because, we can still hear the music and no one can see us." "Oh. That's sounds good." Amy looked to the ground. Then she saw a gloved hand in front of her. Sonic held out his hand for her to hold. When Sonic know Amy's hand was in his, he slowly pulled her up to him. Amy blushed, Sonic did too. "Still want to dance?" Sonic asked. "Yes."
Sonic and Amy started dancing. Amy loved this moment. She came closer to him putting her head on his chest. Sonic put his chin on her head. Sonic held her close. Amy felt warm in his arms, she just fit perfect in his arms. They parted slowly. They looked in each others eyes once more. Then, the words that came out of Sonic's mouth that Amy dreamed of hearing. "I love you Amy Rose." Amy almost went in tears...of joy that is. But one small tear managed to get out. Sonic wiped it off. Once again they got to see the beauty of their eyes. Sonic's emerald green eyes, and Amy's sparkling light green eyes. They moved in slowly. Their eyes closing and their lips meeting. This kiss was more loving than the first. Their first kiss wasn't so romantic because they were in an ambulance. Sonic held her close. Amy held on to him. Amy was about to let go but Sonic wasn't done yet, so he didn't let her leave. After that 3 minute kiss, they let go. Staring into each others eyes again. "I love you too Sonic." They went into a hug as the party went on.
The time finally came that the party was over. "Wow, 12:26, I've never been up this late." Amy said. "Really, the latest I've been up was 3:47." Sonic and Amy were walking home together. They both reached Sonic's house. "Oh no!" "What's wrong Amy?" "Remember, my house in gone." "Oh ya." Sonic thought of something. "Maybe, you can stay with me." "Really- "Ya." Amy gave Sonic a big hug. "If it's okay thought." "Oh course it is, if it wasn't would I of asked?" Amy smiled as they walked in. "Clean." "What do you mean clean Amy?" "Oh, nothing." "How about a midnight snack?" Amy asked. "Ua....sure, I guess. But what is there to eat?" "It's your house, you should know what you have." Sonic crossed his arms. "Ya ya." "I know! Do you have strawberries and cake batter?" "Um.....ya I think so." "Good, you stay here while I make us something. No peeking ether." "Okay." Sonic sat on the couch. He stared at the blank TV screen. Sonic's thoughts: when should I purpose to her? I still need to get a ring. Maybe I can buy it tomorrow. 20 minutes went by as Sonic fell asleep on the couch. "Sonic, it's ready." "Wh-what, oh." Amy came in with two bowls of Strawberry Sugar Cakes. "Wow, they look great." "I want you to tell how I did." Sonic took a spoon and stuck it in the cake. He put it to his mouth and ate it. "Needs more sugar." "Oh." "It's still good." Amy added more sugar to her's. "Here, have sum of mine. I added more sugar to it." Amy held out the spoon. Sonic and Amy looked at each other. "Here comes the train." Amy said. They laughed. Sonic opened and took it. "Much better." As they finished up, they got ready for bed. "good night Amy." Night Sonic." Sonic offered his bed to Amy. As he sleep on the couch.
The night was cold. Sonic on the couch, was shivering. "Man, why is…it so cold?" he pulled up some blankets. Amy slowly walked down the stairs. Sonic heard her and closed his eyes. "S...Sonic, are you up?" Amy asked softly. "W-hat?" Sonic said. "Um....it's freezing." Sonic opened his eyes and sat up. "I know." Sonic put his hand on the couch. Amy knew the signal, and sat next to him. "Here." Sonic put the blanket he was using over her too. She cuddled up to him. Sonic put his arm around her. "Sonic? Why is it cold?" "I don't know." Sonic and Amy slowly fell asleep in each others arms.
Shadow finally got the key!! He went up to the old rusty door. "Finally!" Shadow put the key in. The door opened. Inside was.............nothing...Shadow was "Gurrrrrrrrr....EGGMAN!!!" Shadow ran away going after the egghead. The door was wide open.
Sonic awoke finding that Amy was fast asleep at his side. He slowly got up and kissed her forehead. He grabbed his wallet and ran off. “Let's see, the jewelry store has to be open by now.” Sonic ran up to the store doors. The sign said open. “Great!” Sonic walked in. “Good morning sir.” A man walked up to him. “Ah, you must be Jeff? It says on your badge.” Sonic said trying to rush. “Yes I am. What can I do for you?” “The manager told me you could help me.” Jeff put his hand on his chin. “Really, what do you need help with?” “I need you to find my gift in your storage closest so I can take it home.” “Oh yes, tell me your name and I will get it for you.” “Sonic the hedgehog.” Jeff stood with his mouth open. “Um…you ok?” Sonic asked. “You're Sonic?” “Ua, ya. Can you please get it? I'm in a bit of a hurry.” “Oh, yes…sorry.” Jeff walked back to the storage, grabbed the one that had a sticky note with Sonic the hedgehog wrote on it, and went back out. “Here you go.” “Thank you. Here's your money.” Sonic gave Jeff his money and left. “Wow, Sonic the hedgehog in person.”
Amy awoke to see Sonic by her side. “Good morning Amy.” Amy sat up and gave him a hug. He hugged back. “Morning Sonic.” “Come one Ames, get ready. I want to take you somewhere.” “Yay! I'll go get ready now!” Amy jumped off the couch and ran up stairs. “Man she's so cute when she does that.” 5 minutes past and Amy was ready to go. “Where we going Sonic?” “You'll see.” Sonic picked her up and ran off. They ended up at a field of flowers. “Oh, what pretty flowers.” Amy said. Unknowing that Sonic was knelling. “Amy?” Amy turned to him. “Yes-oh my, Sonic you're knelling.” “Amy, I loved you all the life and I wanted to tell you I loved you earlier, but I wanted to wait for the right time. I thought you and I could be together and I want that to last. Amy, will you marry me?” Amy was shocked. “Yes, yes Sonic. I will marry you!” Amy gave him a huge hug. Then they went into a deep kiss. They parted and Sonic put the ring on Amy. It has pink diamonds on it. “Oh, Sonic!” They went into another kiss knowing they'll be together for the rest of their lives.
