Sequel: It Doesn't Matter Chapter 1, Morning Time
Shadow ran through the streets fast. He was heading toward Eggmans fortress. He had seen Sonic and Amy
on the beach and heard what Sonic had told her.
Shadow:"(thinking) So...Sonic's fell in love has he? Heh heh...I wonder if we could get to him through her?
...I have to tell the doctor! He would wanna know this..."

It had been two months since the morning Sonic had told Amy he loved her. Two months since they last saw Eggman. Sonic and Amy had been secretly seeing each other. They had told no one about that day. Whenever
they wanted to be alone together, Amy would say that she was going to the mall and Sonic would tell everyone
that he was going out to run around in circles all day. Everyone fell for it because that's what they both so dearly loved to do. And they only went to the park or the beach at night time where they would walk and talk or sit on
the shore watching the waves stroke the sand...
Sonic woke up and stretched his arms. He checked the time.
Sonic:" OMG! It's 9:00! I totally slept in!"
He rolled off his bed with a loud thump and put on his shoes. He sped downstairs and ran out the door.
Amy sat in the living room watching TV. Sonic came back minutes later.
Amy:" Where'd you go?"
Sonic:" My mornin' run!"
Amy rolled her eyes and smiled sweetly at him. Sonic walked over to the couch and sat down by her.
Sonic:" (whispering) Is anyone else up?"
Amy:" Nope! It's just me!"
Sonic:" Good.....Well....mornin' Ame's."
Amy smiled and looked at him with a romantic smile. He closed his eyes and pressed his lips against hers gently. She kissed him back. Amy broke the kiss and smiled sweetly.
Amy:" Mornin' Sonic."
Sonic smiled. They quickly moved a little away from each other as they heard someone walking down the stairs.
Knuckles:" Hey Sonic! Hey Ame's! Mornin'! See ya!"
Sonic and Amy looked at him puzzled look as he walked to the kitchen. They both followed him.
Sonic:" What was that all about?! Why were ya so quick at your hello?"
Knuckles:" I'm makin' my breakfast before Vanilla cooks again! Those pancakes she made yesterday tasted
like she made them outta grease!!"
Amy:" They were kinda gross!"
Sonic:" Yeah that’s true. Hey Knux have ya heard anything about Eggman yet?"
Knuckles:" Yep! He was seen yesterday down town, around your old house Amy. People don't know why he
was there but he's definitely up to somethin'!"
Sonic glanced at Amy.
Sonic:" Is he out of the city?"
Knuckles:" Yeah, the police threatened to put him in jail so he ran off. Haven't seen him since!"
Sonic sighed in relief and walked to the living room. Amy followed him.
Sonic:" Whoa...that was some bad news. I wonder what he was doin' around your old house."
Amy:" I daknow. I hope he doesn’t brake in."
Sonic:" Hope not either!"
Sonic slumped on the couch.
Sonic:"(thinking) Oh no! What if...he couldn't of....found out...could he? What if I was right and one of his spies were there a-and saw us kissing! Ohhhhh....No Sonic! Stupid you! Get that out of your head! He hasn't found
out! You're just exaggerating!”
Amy sat down on the couch by Sonic and looked at him.
Sonic:" What?"
Amy:" You're not thinking what I think you're thinking are you?"
Sonic:" What?!"
Amy:"(tries to talk like Sonic) Oh no what if he found out! What if one of his spies were right around the corner! Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah!"
Sonic:" How'd you know?!"
Amy:" I'm in love with you! (grins and talks evilly) I can read you're mind! Ha ha ha!"
Sonic:" Man! That's just wrong! But I guess....I'll just have to deal with it..."
Amy smiled and giggled. She leaned her head on his shoulder and Sonic wrapped one arm around her neck.
They both sighed and Sonic turned on the TV.
TV:" Eggman was spotted again down town near the train station. He was seen with a black hedgehog and
a robot hedgehog. The police chased them off but were shot down by the robots lasers. All citizens of Emerald
town are not allowed to go down town until everything is safe. Now for the time....(another man comes on
the screen) It's 9:30 am October 9th of 2005."
Amy:" That date and time sounds familiar..."
They both thought. Amy smiled and jumped up.
Sonic:" What is it?!"
Amy:" I know what it is!(whispers) Something very exciting happened at this exact time two months ago."
Sonic:" August 9th of 2005....at 9:30....I can't seem to recall anything..."
Amy's eyes flared.
Amy:" STUPID! You told me something very important on that date!"
Sonic looked at her confused and scratched his head.
Sonic:"......Ummmm.....Ame's.....sorry but.....I can't remember."
Amy rolled her eyes and sighed. She embraced him and kissed him on the cheek.
Amy:".....I love you..."
Sonic then remembered that two months ago they were on the beach, holding each other in their arms.
He told her that he loved her. And, he also made a promise.
Sonic:"....oh...that's right....I told you for the first time that I loved you..."
Amy:" Uh huh..."
Sonic:" And I made a promise to you that when this war between Eggman and us was over we would be
together forever."
Amy:" Yup. And I made a promise to you that I would trust you and never give up on you!
So today...is our Anniversary!"
Sonic smiled and held her hand. They both scooted away from each other as Tails came in.
Tails:" Hey guys! Mornin'!"
Sonic:" Mornin' bro!"
Vanilla walked in the kitchen and started making pancakes. Tails snarled his nose.
Tails:" Oh great! Vanilla's cooking again today."
Tails didn't know Cream was standing right behind him. She grinned evilly and walked up to her mom.
Tails:” Oh no Cream don't!"
Cream:" Momma, Tails doesn’t like your food."
Tails:" AHHHHHHH!"
Vanilla:" Is that so Tails?"
Tails:" I never said that!!"
He ran out the door and to his workshop.
Sonic:"(whispers) Hey Ame's do ya wanna go out tonight?"
Amy nodded excitedly.
Amy:" (whispers) Let's go to the park!"
Sonic smiled and turned his head back to the TV.
