Chapter 2: An Unexpected Feeling


Later the night, Shadow leapt from building top to building top. He landed on top of the train stations roof and looked down. Hundreds of people walked on the sidewalk going in and out of stores and restaurants.

Shadow:" Alright, she's around here somewhere-"

???:"Shadow! What the heck are you doin' here?!"

Shadow spun around thinking it was Sonic. Metal Sonic walked up to Shadow with a smirky look on his face.

M.Sonic:" So, did I sound like Sonic?"

Shadow:".....no....well....maybe...a little."

M.Sonic:" I'm tryin' to sound like him so I can trick people! Who doesn’t want to here their fave hedgehog everyday? Oh yeah, and I said Sonic was their favorite hedgehog not you...heh heh."

Shadow glared at him and rolled his eyes. Then he saw her, Amy walked down the sidewalk carrying grocery bags. He jumped down and landed in front of her. Amy stepped back and stared at him puzzled. Shadow looked at her in the eyes and smiled a little.

Amy:" Are you just gonna stare at me like that? I mean....I have to get home and cook dinner....are you gonna capture me? If you are you can't because Sonic's right over there."

Shadow:" Um....no....I was just walking by....see ya..."

Shadow slid beside her and ran into an ally. Amy raised one eyebrow. Sonic ran up to her.

Sonic:" Hey Ame's! Long time no see!"

Amy starred at him and raised both of her eyebrows.

Sonic:"(whispers) Remember....we're out in public. Just pretend like we haven't seen each other for a while. We didn't see each other this morning. Okay?"

Amy nodded her head and smiled remembering that their love was secret. Sonic and Amy walked by each other.

Sonic:" Did I just see Shadow?!"

Amy:" Yeah. But he didn't look like he wanted to kidnap me! He just gave me a weird look and walked by."

Sonic looked around suspiciously.

Sonic:" What kind of look?"

Amy:" Like this!*looks at Sonic in the eyes and smiled a little*"

Amy shrugged and started walking again. Flames sparked in Sonic's eyes.

M.Sonic walked up to Shadow.

M.Sonic:" Dude! What happened?"

Shadow:"...................."

M.Sonic:" You don't like her do ya?"

Shadow:"..................."

M.Sonic:" Hello?"

Shadow:"..................."

M.Sonic:" DUDE SPEAK TA ME!!!!!"

Shadow:".................."

M.Sonic:" Hey Shadow....can we get married?"

Shadow:".....yeah."

M.Sonic smiled.

M.Sonic:"(thinking)Oh gosh this is gonna be rich! Since he's so out of it I can probably get anything out of him!"

Shadow:"......................"

M.Sonic:" Hey Shadow, are you a girl?"

Shadow:".....yeah."

M.Sonic:" Do you love Amy?"

Shadow:"......yeah."

M.Sonic:" Do you wanna kiss her?"

Shadow:" Yeah."

Shadow kept walking shuffling his feet.

M.Sonic:" Do ya wanna go shopping and buy the cutest dress in town?"

Shadow:"....Yeah."

M.Sonic:" Do you like as in love Sonic?"

Shadow:"(wakes up) WHHHAAATTTTTTTT?!!!"

M.Sonic burst out laughing.

M.Sonic:" Oh man. If I told you all the things you said yes to I think you would kill yourself! That was so funny! I wish I had a tape recorder. BLACK MAIL!! HA HA HA!"

Shadow turned bright red as he saw three girls just staring at him.

Girl 1:" What a weirdo!"

Girl 2:" Eww he likes Sonic!"

Girl 3:" And he wants to wear a dress?"

Girl 1:" Hey boy! There's a really cute one hangin’ in that store over there!"

The three girls laughed and walked away. Shadow glared at Metal Sonic flames sparking in his eyes.

M.Sonic:" uh...oh.....*screams like a girl*AHHHHHHHHHH!"

Shadow tackled M.Sonic his bolts flying everywhere....



Sonic and Amy got back to the house. Amy started making dinner and Sonic turned on the TV. Charmy walked in with Espio and they both sit on the couch.
Vector walks in and takes the remote away from Sonic.

Sonic:" Heeeeyy."

Espio:" Give us back our remote!"

Charmy:" OR I'LL STING YOU WITH THIS THING.*points at his stinger*"

Vector:" To bad! My shows on!"

Charmy:" You mean your stupid girly soap operas that you cry on?!"

Vector:" I DON'T CRY!!!"

Everybody looked at Vector waiting for his "real" reply.

Vector:"........um.....so....maybe I do....BUT IT'S NOT MY FAULT!! Every time Todd gets a girlfriend she always DIES! I HAVE TO CRY!!!"

(Todd is someone I made up. He's not a real Soap star.)

Sonic rolled his eyes and got up.

Sonic:" That's okay Vector. The news was over anyway."

Sonic walked into the kitchen and Vector took his place on the couch. He walked over to Amy who was stirring something in a pot.

Amy:" Hey Sonic!"

Sonic looked around to see if anyone was in the kitchen and then kissed her on the cheek. Amy sighed and continued stirring.

Sonic:" Whatcha makin'?"

Amy:" Something nasty that Vanilla told me to make. I don't even know what it's called!"

Sonic snickered and looked in the pot.

Sonic:" Is that....anchovies!"

Amy nodded. Sonic shivered and sat down on a chair.

Amy:" I'm eatin' something else. Hey!(whispers) What time do ya wanna go tonight?"

Sonic:" After dinner....if I eat any of it.
