Sequel: It Doesn't Matter Chapter 3, The Suspecious Rabbit
Amy paced back in forth in her room. Cream came in and sat on her bed.
Amy:" Hi Cream!"
Cream:" Hi. Why are you walking like that? Are you waiting for someone?"
Amy:"....uh...I uh....I-I'm just thinking....About Sonic...Yeah! I'm thinking about Sonic! Like I always do!*sighs*"
Cream:"....okay...so....that last time you and Sonic went out on a date, two months ago where that alien hurt
your leg, did he comfort you at all?"
Amy:" uh huh. He started crying. He thought it was his fault because he promised me that nothing would happen.
I told him it wasn't his fault and that It didn't matter."
Cream:" Wow. He cried?"
Amy:" Yup!"
Amy started singing Sonic's song "It Doesn’t Matter." She thought about what had happened two months ago...
~Amy thinking~
Sonic:" Amy....I have to tell you something very important....before we're interrupted again."
He held her close and she starred at him with a puzzled look.
Sonic:" Amy...I...I love you. I ...I love you more than anything in the world, more than you love me.....
I love you more than running! I couldn't...I couldn't tell you because I was too scared...too scared of falling
into something I couldn't get out of! If you got hurt or died....my life a-and heart would fall apart. I...I don't
think I could live without you. You...You've become a part of me. You're in my heart and soul. You're eyes....
Gosh, I can't get over how beautiful they are. They sparkle like nothing I've ever seen before. You...You're so....beautiful!....I....I love you Amy Rose....I-I deeply, deeply, madly, truly love you."
Amy's eyes filled with tears of joy. He stroked her hair.
Sonic:" You...You're the voice inside me!"
Amy: " Oh Sonic....I love you."
Sonic:" I love you too Amy Rose!"
He pressed his lips against hers. She kissed him back and wrapped her arms around his neck. Sonic sighed as
he kissed Amy. They both held in their romantic embrace. Sonic slowly broke the kiss and they starred into
each others eyes.
Amy:"....Sonic...."
Sonic:" Amy....I love you so much. But....Eggman......You have to understand that we have to keep quiet about this. If he finds out...I don't know what he'll do....but I can assure you that he will try to hurt you....because
he'll know that I'm madly in love with you. He hates me that much."
Amy nodded and leaned her head on his shoulder. Sonic embraced her.
Sonic:" I hate that....Eggman's gonna be the one that keeps us away from our future together....I hate it,
I hate it, I HATE IT!"
He held her even closer nuzzling against her head with his.
Sonic:" But I promise....that we will be together someday without any trouble....I promise."
Amy:" But what if Eggman never gives up?"
Sonic:" You just gotta trust me!"
Amy:"....*cry* Okay!"

Amy sighed.
Cream:" What did happen two months ago when you went to go find Sonic on the beach?"
Amy hesitated.
Amy:" N-Nothing! I-I just found him and we went for a walk on the shore!"
Cream crossed her arms and glared at Amy as she walked out of the room.
Cream:" Something weird is goin' on between Sonic and Amy...and I'm gonna find out what it is!
I can have Tails help me! And maybe Espio...he can spy on them with his camoflauge!"

It was 10:00. Everybody except Knuckles, Tails, Espio, Sonic and Amy were asleep. Sonic crept downstairs.
He peeked around the corner where Knuckles was watching TV. Knuckles didn't notice him and Sonic walked
back upstairs. He knocked quietly on Amy's door.
Amy:" Yes?"
Sonic:" You ready?"
Amy:" Oh.... yeah. Hold on just one sec!"
Amy ran to her mirror and fixed her hair.
Amy:" Okay, gotta make sure that everything is where it's supposed to be!...Okay..."
Amy opened her door slowly and slipped out. Sonic took her hand and led her downstairs. He made sure Knuckles was still watching TV and then opened the front door. Knuckles heard it open and jumped up. Sonic pushed Amy outside. He looked around the corner at Knuckles.
Sonic:" SHHHHH! I'm just goin' for a little run. I'll be back later."
Knuckles knodded and Sonic shut the door. They both got on the motorcycle Sonic had taken from the beach
when Eggman attacked and sped off.
