Sequel: It Doesn't Matter Chapter 4, It's For Your Safety
Cream starred out the window. She had seen Sonic and Amy drive away. She crept out of her room and to
Tails's room. She knocked on his door.
Tails:" Yeah?"
Cream:" Can you help me and Espio spy on Sonic and Amy?"
Tails:" Wha! Why?!"
Cream:" They're up to something! I think they're secretly going out! I saw them drive away on Sonic's motorcycle! They're going to the park! I've already talked to Espio about it and he believed me! He's gonna spy on them closer than we can with his invisibility! Please?"
Tails:"......um....okay...but if you're wrong-"
Cream:" I can assure you...I'm not!"
Cream, Tails and Espio snuck out of the house and ran to the park...

Sonic and Amy were walking at the park.
Sonic:" So.....What did you do today?"
Amy:" Nothin' much. Me and Cream went shopping, and then we ate at a restaurant, and then went shopping
some more, and then I dropped her off at the house, and then I went shopping some more! Well, that time
I went grocery shopping."
Sonic shook his head.
Sonic:" You love to shop don'tcha?"
Amy:" Yup! Hey Sonic....why do you think Eggman....was around my old house?"
Sonic:" Hummm....I don't know! He could've been just walking by....but then again he was trying to break in-"
Amy:" WHAAAATTT?!!!
Sonic slapped his hand over her mouth.
Sonic:" Good grief Ame's! Wake up the whole neighborhood. Remember, this is supposed to be a secret. We can't let anyone know we're together."
Amy's eyes fell. Sonic took his hand off her mouth and looked at her.
Sonic:" Ame's....what's wrong? Did I do something?"
Amy shook her head. Sonic took her by the shoulders and lifted her head up. Her eyes had filled with tears.
Sonic:" Ame's...what's wrong girl?"
Amy:" *cry* Nothing....*tiny voice*why does it have to be a secret? Why can't we just be together and let everyone know?"
Sonic:" Amy....this is for your safety....I don't want anything to happen to you...."
Amy:" I don't care Sonic! I'm tired of this whole secret thing! I wanna get out of the shadows and let everyone know we're in love! I don't care if I get hurt!"
Sonic's eyes fell. He embraced her and she cried on his shoulder.
Amy:" I don't want it to be a secret anymore!"
Sonic:" I know Amy, I know...but if Eggman finds out...Oh Ame's it's okay. I promised you we will be together
after this war is over. I promised you that and I'm not gonna brake it!"
She looked deeply into his eyes and smiled. They both pressed their lips against each other and stood there.
The kiss was long and deep like the one on the beach. Sonic broke the kiss and starred into her eyes.
But, they didn't know that Tails, Cream and Espio were spying on them in the bushes...
