Sequel: It Doesn't Matter Chapter 5, Gun Shots
Sonic lay on his bed starring at the ceiling. He sighed.
Sonic:" Aw, Maybe Amy's right. Maybe this doesn't need to be a secret......maybe I'm just being over protective....."
Sonic sat up and rolled of his bed. He went to his TV and clicked it on.
TV:"........buuuuuzzzzzzzz........*blank screen*"
Sonic:" That's weird..."
He hit the side of it but it still made a buzzing sound. Then, he heard a scream of pain. He jumped up and ran
out of the room. Where was the scream coming from? He leaned his ear up against Tail's door. Nothing.
Then he heard more noises...
???:"...*cry* Stop it!...*thump* Ow*cry* *something brakes* Why are you doing this-AHHHHH! Stop it! OW!*scream of pain* *cry*"
Sonic followed the sounds down the hall. He listened for any screams from The Chaotix Team's room and
Knuckles room. He checked on Cream. But, no sounds were coming from hers either. Sonic's heart raced fast
as he walked slowly up to Amy's door. He leaned his ear up against it. He panicked as he heard Amy scream
in pain. He kicked the door down and ran in. Metal Sonic had Amy on the floor with her hands behind her back
and a gun against her head. She whimpered as he pressed on the gun harder. Tears of fright blurred Sonic's
eyes as he lookedat his love who was being held hostage. M.Sonic had broke her right arm and left leg.
Her back injuries, from the alien slapping at her with it's tentacles, was bleeding for M.Sonic had ripped
them open again.
Sonic:"....let her go now M.S(Metal Sonic) Please let her go...."
M.Sonic put his finger on the trigger. Amy closed her eyes waiting for her life to end.
M.Sonic:"Why should I? I thought you didn't care about this girl? She was just an annoying brat that wouldn't
stop chasing you! Ha, if I was correct you would want her to leave you alone...."
Sonic:"...*cry* Not anymore....I want her around me...."
M.Sonic:"Why?"
Sonic:"Because....Be-Because.....I-I love her....I love her more than anything else in the world...."
M.Sonic gave a smirky look at Sonic.
M.Sonic:"Perfect answer!"
He lifted up Amy's head and she looked at Sonic. M.Sonic got real close to her ear.
M.Sonic:"You see this boy?"
Amy:"Uh huh..."
M.Sonic:"Look at him closely, because this is gonna be the last time you see him."
Amy started breathing hard. M.Sonic grabbed her around the neck and pulled her off the ground holding her
in his arms with the gun still against her head. Sonic shook his head and tears flowed from his eyes.
He couldn't do anything. Just stand there...in fear for Amy's life. M.Sonic put his finger on the trigger again.
M.Sonic:"Sweet dreams."
Sonic:"NOOOOOOO!!!AMY!!
There was a gun shot and everything went black. Sonic fell to his knees in the darkness, confused.
What happened? He couldn't see anything. He heard something fall to the ground with a loud thump
and something with a buzzing noise. Someone turned Sonic's desk light on. It was Knuckles.
Sonic:"KNUCKLES! What-what happened?"
Knuckles:"I went out to my car to get something when I saw M.S throw Amy through her balcony door braking
the glass. I knew she was in trouble so I climbed up the wall. When I finally got to the balcony I saw that you
were there and decided to hold on my attack. But when I saw that you couldn't do anything I came up behind
M.S and punched him in the back of his head. He fired the gun and it hit your light bulb making the lights go out...
but I don't think it...shot Amy's head..."
Sonic turned around and saw in the shadows Amy lying on the floor. Her back was bleeding, and her right arm
and left leg was broken. But the worst injury of all... was her side. The bullet had just barely shot through it,
not damaging anything on the inside, though it was bleeding violently. Sonic crawled on his knees over to Amy.
He leaned over her body and stroked her hair. His tears fell on her face. Knuckles walked over to him.
Sonic:"....*cry* I love her so much.If she dies...."
Knuckles put his arm on Sonic's shoulder.
Knuckles:"Sonic....what's going on?"
Sonic told him about what had happened two months before that day.
Sonic:"I told her that I loved her so much, more than anything in the world, more then running...I fell madly in
love with her. I-I kissed her a-and she kissed me back...We starred into each others eyes(Gosh her eyes are so pretty)I promised her that we would be together someday after I defeated Eggman for good. She promised me
that she would trust me...And I told her that we had to keep our love a secret from everyone....even you all!
So we only went out secretly...like tonight...we went for a walk in the park...I thought Eggman would never
find out that way...and he didn't....but now....he knows....and Amy's...life is in grave danger.
And....and....*cry* it's all my fault!"
Sonic placed Amy's head on his lap. Knuckles patted Sonic on the back. Tears flowed from Sonic's eyes.
Knuckles:" Dude....it'll be okay...you'll see...she's still alive....maybe just a little bit but...listen I gotta go call 911. She needs a doctor..."
Knuckles stood up and raced out of the room.
Sonic:"(quietly)Ame's....can you hear me? It's Sonic...Amy?"
No reply.
Sonic:"(still quiet)Oh Ame's....*cry*I love you...please wake up....I want to spend the rest of my life with you....
I wanted to...*gulp* have a family with you....To die with you.....please wake up....please...."
Sonic started crying harder as he held her close. He pressed his lips against hers. He held there for awhile,
kissing her, in his own romantic embrace. Then, he felt her lips press against his. He quickly broke the kiss
and looked at her. Amy opened her eyes a little and smiled. Tears of joy flowed down Sonic's cheeks and
he embraced her.
Sonic:" Oh Amy! I thought you would never wake up!...."
Amy put her hand on his cheek. Sonic smiled and looked at her with wet eyes. They both kissed each other again. Amy wrapped her arms around his neck as they held in their romantic embrace. Knuckles came back in.
Knuckles:" Well the ambulance is-...whoa..."
Sonic and Amy didn't even know Knuckles was in the room and continued kissing. Knuckles smiled and stepped
out of the room. He walked to the Chaotix room and knocked on the door.
Vector:"(from behind the door) WHAT DO YOU WANT?!! IT'S LIKE 3:00 IN THE FLIPPIN' MORNIN'!!"
Charmy:"Uhggggg....."
Espio:"I have to wake up in three hours and meditate! What the heck do you want?!"
Knuckles:"Well, uh Amy got hurt really bad and we're all goin' up to the hospital. But since you all don't care-"
Charmy:"OH NO!!"
Vector:"We'll be out in a minute!"
Espio opened the door and stepped out.
Espio:"Did M.S do something to her?"
Knuckles:"What? How'd you know?"
Espio:"I had a vision of Amy being torn to peices when I was asleep....I guess I shouldn't of been out there spying on them."
Knuckles:"You were spying on them?"
Espio:"Yeah, tonight....me, Tails and Cream kinda went out to the park to spy on 'em...they were like...kissing...Sonic and Amy are secretly in love-"
Knuckles:"I know! Sonic already told me..."
Espio:"Well I wasn't supposed to know...neither was Tails and Cream...it was Cream's idea-but you didn't here
that from me!"
Knuckles:"It was Creams idea? Her attitude sure has changed...She went from a boring girl with no hobby
to an....evil little brat!"
Cream:"I heard that you dweeb!"
Knuckles:"SEEE!"

Sonic and Amy broke the kiss and stared into eachothers eyes.
Sonic:"....I love you..."
Amy leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed.
Sonic:"What are we gonna do now? If Eggman knows....how are we gonna be together?"
Amy:"I don't know....But Sonic...I love you so much....Please don't give up...I'm trusting you that you're never gonna give up. Please don't break up with me! PLEASE!"
Sonic looked at her with stern eyes.
Sonic:"Amy...I'm never gonna break up with you! Ever!"
Amy nodded and leaned on his shoulder again. The ambulance showed up and Sonic carried Amy downstairs.
He placed her on the stretcher and they rolled her in the ambulance.
Sonic:"I'll see you at the hospital, okay?"
Amy nodded and they shut the doors. They drove away. Sonic, Cream, Tails, Vanilla, and Knuckles piled
in Knuckles car while the Chaotix team got in Vectors car. They followed the Ambulance to the hospital...
