Sequel: It Doesn't Matter Chapter 8, Nightmares
Sonic walked slowly back to the hospital in a daze.
Sonic:"(thinking) No...no...no...Amy is my love not Shadow’s...he can't have her...I'm gonna spend the rest
of
my life with her...NOT SHADOW! I won't let some fake hedgehog take away my girl!"
The automatic doors opened and Sonic walked into the hospital. Tails stood up and looked at Sonic who had
a dead look on his face.
Tails:" Sonic? What's wrong?"
Sonic didn't reply. He sat in a chair and starred down the hall waiting for the doctor to come out.

Four hours later, a nurse came out of the surgery room with Amy laying on the stretcher. Sonic jumped up
and ran over to her.
Sonic:" Is she okay?"
Nurse:" She's fine, but we have to go in here now. She needs to rest...Why don't you go home."
The nurse pushed her into a room and shut the door behind her. Sonic starred at the door with a sad
and
confused look on his face. Someone pulled on Sonic's arm and he looked down. Cream stood there
and looked at him with a comforting smile.
Cream:" She's gonna all right Sonic. She'll get through this. And then when the nurse does tell you that you
can go in you can comfort her...like you did the last time she was in pain."
Sonic stared at her. Cream whispered in Sonic's ear.
Cream:" I know you and Amy's secret...I... Me, Tails, and Espio were spying on you and her at the park...
I'm so sorry we did...but...Amy...I grew very suspicious when you and her road away on your motorcycle.
I'm so sorry."
She started to cry a little. Sonic kneeled down to her level and took her by the shoulders.
Sonic:" Hey...no tears Cream...it's okay...I knew it couldn't be kept a secret for long...I mean you and Tails
get so suspicious about things now days...It's all right...We shouldn't of kept it a secret from you all...It's just-"
Cream:" I know...you did it to keep Amy safe from harm..."
Sonic:" Yeah..."
Sonic stood up and gazed off a bit.
Sonic:" But...I guess...it still didn't work..."
Cream looked up and smiled at him.
Cream:" It'll be okay!"
Sonic looked down at her and smiled. She grabbed his hand and led him over to the waiting room.
She pushed him in a chair playfully and glared at him.
Cream:" Now...you sit down right here mister!"
Sonic looked at her with a puzzled look. She giggled and walked over to her mom.
A couple minutes later the nurse walked out of Amy's room.
Nurse:" You all can see her now. She can probably go home tomorrow...we'll just have to see..."
Everybody followed the nurse to Amy's room. Amy was now sitting up and watching TV. Sonic smiled
and ran over to her. She looked over as she saw Sonic.
Amy:"*gasp* Sonic! Hey!"
They both hugged each other. Sonic looked deeply into her eyes and smiled.
Sonic:" How ya feelin' Ame's?..."
Amy looked at him romantically and sighed.
Amy:" Okay I guess...I'm still a little tired though..."
Sonic leaned in and whispered something in her ear.
Sonic:" I gotta tell you something later...It's something about...Shadow..."
Amy nodded. Sonic turned back to everybody who was starring at him.
Charmy:" What'cha tell her? Something....*bads eyes* romantic?"
Sonic raised his eyebrows and looked at Charmy.
Sonic:" No Charmy...I didn't...I told her something important but it wasn't romantic...I'm not going out with her-"
Amy:" Nor does he want to!*sighs out of annoyance* Just wait Sonic the Hedgehog I'm gonna grow up
and marry you even if I have to drag you to the chapel!"
Sonic smiled.
Sonic:" But remember...I'll find someway out of it...'Cause there's no way I'm gonna marry you!"
He winked at Amy and she acted like she was angry. She crossed her arms and turned away.
Charmy:" Well I guess they are acting normal...*yawn* I'm tired can we go? PLEEAASSEEE! This is boring!
Sorry Amester, but this place stinks like old people and I'm tired. Let's goooooo!"
Vector:" ALL RIGHT YOU STUPID BEE! We're goin'! Bye Amy! Hope you feel better!"
The Chaotix team exits. Knuckles lingered around for a little longer and then left with Cream and Vanilla.
Amy fell asleep. Sonic sat in a chair beside Amy's bed.
Tails:" What time is it?"
Sonic jerked up and opened his eyes. He had almost fell asleep too.
Sonic:" It's....5:00 am."
Tails:" Well...I'm gonna go home...Are you gonna stay here and watch over Ame's?"
Sonic nodded half asleep and his head dropped down. Tails giggled and left the room. Sonic opened his eyes
a little. He rested his head in his arms close to Amy's head and fell asleep.....
Sonic ran through Eggman's fortress. Tears fell from his eyes as he stepped into a large room. Shadow a
nd Amy stood there in a romantic embrace. Amy wrapped her arms around Shadows neck. Sonic shook
his head and fell to the ground.
Sonic:" You...You brainwashed her...how could you do this Shadow?!"
Amy broke the kiss and glared at Sonic with red eyes. Her voice was now cold and deeper.
Amy: "No Sonic...you let me walk in harms way to many times...I was so tired of getting hurt....Shadow
promises that I shall never get hurt again...I TRUST HIM!"
Sonic ran over to Amy and pulled her away from Shadows arms. She struggled to get free but Sonic held her
even closer.
Sonic:" Amy! I love you! I promised you that we would be together forever after Eggman's dead!
And you promised me...that you would trust me..."
Amy twisted his arm and broke it. Sonic yelped in pain and fell to the ground again.
Amy:" NO SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!! YOU MAKE TOO MANY PROMISES THAT YOU CAN'T KEEP!...I HATE YOU!!!"
Sonic:"*cry* Amy! This isn't really you! You're brainwashed! I LOVE YOU! AND I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!
I...I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you! What now?"
Amy grabbed him by the neck and pulled him off the ground. Sonic made coughing sounds and breathed hard.
Amy:" What now? I want to spend the rest of my life with Shadow now! That's what's now!"
She dropped Sonic who landed on his back breathing hard.
Sonic:" Amy....I love you"
Amy:" If you say that one more time...I'm gonna KILL YOU!! HA HA HA HA!"
Sonic laid on the floor and cried as Shadow and Amy went back to their romantic embrace.
Sonic stood in a room full of darkness. There was a bright light and he looked around. Someone that looked
exactly like him came up to him. Then he realized it was him! He stood there with a puzzled look on his face.
Sonic 1:"Who...Who are you?"
Sonic 2:"I'm you!"
Sonic 1:"What..do you want?"
Sonic 2:"You saw what happened...This is a vision Sonic....of the future...This is what will happen...
if you don't keep your promise..."
